This Chuck Johnson storyline is absolutely wild and I’m here for it. This has been my favorite franchise since the Texans one. Keep these episodes coming, Cane!
Loving the chuck Johnson story.. ya gotta expect Int’s in his first season.. esp him starting so low and being a nobody.. he’s definitely better than Lawrence already
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. If a player earns a dev upgrade mid season, then under no circumstances should they lose it on regression. Especially a young guy like Chuck in his second season.
the trait regression has been way too harsh for years now. needs a complete rework. no reason a 99 DB should lose xfactor just because qbs wont throw at him
CJ12 has the potential to be special. Such a cool storyline I don’t think I’ve ever seen on anyone’s franchise mode playthroughs. He’s keeping me interested.
Your ability to keep series entertaining after a few seasons is very awesome. Whenever I play a Madden franchise, after a couple seasons it tends to get a little boring and repetitive. But with the storylines created in your videos, the franchise stays fresh and I get invested in the players. Like Chuck Johnson as a late round qb replacing a first overall pick is so cool. You really are the best Madden youtuber Cane and have been for a long time. Keep up the great work! 😁
My best guess is the milestones diminish the more times a player hits them. So Johnson got 16k for hitting it for the first time, the Rams QB probably got an 8th of that because he's hit it 3 times.
CANE PLEASE READ If you do the mini games every week, even off cam, you will get an additional 750 xp per player you get gold with. 500 for silver, 300 for bronze. You also have a (very small, I get about 1 every 2 seasons) chance for a breakout for those players. It’s worth the extra 5-10 minutes 😁
The Titans could have chosen to let the rookie QB develop for the large XP boost at the end of the season, sometimes they go for that path and stick to it, even if the backup is better than the starter. It could cost them like 25k xp on him if you editing Levis makes him start lol.
The Madden no huddle clock run off is really aggressive. I've seen more than a couple times where the CPU loses the game because of it when they otherwise would've won
That Titans game instead of clocking it, they looked like they tried getting the kicking team in. Had they just clocked it, it would have been a winning attempt right there.
I wish there was a sim mode where you could watch the games just like this, but if there is a short 4th down or a big end game situation you could pick the play like an actual head coach. That 4th and inches punt vs the Jets just made me very upset😂
I wouldnt hold those ints against Johnson too much. If it continues next year then its a concern. He is very young and low overall. He will improve because of his archetype and his intangibles
Always love to see a new Chucksonville episode! The young QB was basically perfect in the first two games today, and he's just going to keep getting better. I was in favor of trading Eli Arrington for a big haul-- he's discontent, won't sign an extension, and is at risk of losing his dev trait if he has a poor season-- but now I'm wondering if maybe he'll change his mind now that you've got a QBotF. (It might still be worth targeting a WR high in the draft, though. Both he and Thomas are going to be free agents sooner rather than later, and, while I like the idea of growing from within with unheralded late-round guys, I don't think Singh or Tuck are positioned to break out like Johnson has.) Game ball against the Colts has to go to Oluokan, with the INT and game-sealing sack. Johnson and the offense may have gone toe-to-toe with Richardson to get that lead, but Foye and the defense are the ones who kept it. Here's hoping Cooper can get into the game and put a bow on his season with a strong showing against Houston; the 10-sack milestone would be huge, and if he wins DROY and gets bumped up to X-Factor, you've got the best front 4 in the league, hands down (and you'll already have JHA's replacement secured for when he starts to show decline).
I like Chuck Johnson as the starter, but u have to focus his upgrade points on one or two play styles. Spreading it out makes him jack of all trades, master of none. He won't grow quick enough.
Where did chuck Johnson go to college? He’s about to be my next RTG lol he’s a 3 star scrambling QB with some off the field issues that made him get drafted in the 6th round
potential hot take, chuck johnson is a faster trevor siemian. holds the ball way to long and makes a decent OL look bad. almost every dropback he waited until the pressure was in his face to throw the ball....you could say that maybe the receivers werent getting open but i doubt it with that group
If a QB averaged getting sacked 21 times per game, as Cane said Chuck Johnson has, he'd take Aaron Rodgers' record in less than 2 seasons. Pretty sure everyone would be fired after the first game that happened in.
I know this might be a unpopular opinion but Chuck reminds of a lot of Daniel Jones. Flashes of something good and exciting but widly inconsistent. If he hits 20 INTS this year i bet he goes down in dev. He is exciting to watch but i dont think he is going to lead this team to a super bowl he will end up like Lawrence peaking in the low 80s rating and with lower pass per game numbers he will always be ranked in the middle or bottom half of all Qbs so his Dev will never climb with out break outs.
The silence after "Johnsonville" was deafening. 😂
"Travis says we can run on these guys"
"I believe him"

"We lost"
LMAO!!!
With a fumble 😂
Poor Chuck...being sacked 21 times per game is just too much for anyone
Brings back memories of David Carr running for his life behind the patchwork offensive line that the very first Texans roster had.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This Chuck Johnson storyline is absolutely wild and I’m here for it. This has been my favorite franchise since the Texans one. Keep these episodes coming, Cane!
Loving the chuck Johnson story.. ya gotta expect Int’s in his first season.. esp him starting so low and being a nobody.. he’s definitely better than Lawrence already
Seems like a gambler like favre so he's gonna be a bit prone to them i would think
I'm so invested in Chuck Johnson it's crazy. And to think you may have not even started him if not for the preseason stream. What a story.

Gotta rock the throwbacks for that Texans game
Let’s go Chuck!!! Don’t stop believing!

Between Cane streaming Buffalo multiple times this week and multiple uploads of this series, lots of great content!
Others need to take notes.
This series has legit turned out better than expected! The Chuck J story is seeming to be iconic for the channel
Chucky J signature stiff arm
Chuck's scramble game is insane wow
The Chuck Johnson story line is cool but what do yall know about the Sylvester Seymour UNRETIREMENT?!
woof that punt against the jets is a fireable offense. absolutely cowardly punt by the AI
cain i have been a lurker
since 2012 I remember the old days with the purple vikings robe live streaming chilling keep streaming boss!!
"Gives no Chuck" Johnson taking over!! 😂
On the pass to strange you showed the replay for... what an actual throw by Johnson. He releases that before Strange is even out of his break lol
8:29 is the Chuck Johnson Scramble Special. Order it often, it's delicious.
Chuck Johnson seems to almost always make the right decision man, I hope he becomes a 85+ maybe even 90ovr player man, he’s a beast even if he doesn’t
16:20 Johnsonville Jaguars? I like it!
Gotta love Chucky Jags.
Loving this series. Please keep it going for atleast 15 seasons
Johnson might be the best running QB I've seen in one of these sim series
My best guess is the milestones diminish the more times a player hits them. So Johnson got 16k for hitting it for the first time, the Rams QB probably got an 8th of that because he's hit it 3 times.
That would be good to check on. Because his yardage for a 24 year old felt low.

I am loving the games that this madden is producing in slow sim. Very refreshing
genuinely so excited when i see these videos uploaded
28 minutes in is where I heard what I've been looking for. Make sure snaps average is what the rest of the league is getting.
This story already makes me feel like we will be seeing into the future after football for Chuck Johnson as well🤞
Chuck Johnson's story is about to be amazing
Another banger Cane! It's clear to see you're loving putting out this series, great work man.
I love the series Cane, don't stop!!
Best slow sim series you’ve done in years
This series has been awesome my favorite since madden 21s Texans
8:49 looked a little mahomey!
What are the odds you do another HC 09 series?
Dang this vid and these games were so good this episode, absolutely flew by. Hope Chuck can fix the ints though
Johnsonville comment was so underrated
This series is so good!! So excited to see future content with MLB soon too!!
Those tags looks good on our boy Qb1 Chuck
Well I think we've solved our problem at QB this year. Chuck Johnson is pretty good at Madden
I’m loving the Johnson story….so much better than Lawrence. You made the right call two episodes ago
Based on these last few episodes I feel like Chuck Johnson bases his game on Lamar Jackson and Jameis Winston
i love chuck johnson, but knowing this team… we’re heading for heartbreak in week 18 lol
It's a good day to be watching another Cane vid
Chuck Johnson like Rookie Josh Allen
Man... Chuk is runnig the franchise! Let's go Jonsonville!🔥🔥🔥
Johnson was clutch in OT.. is Arrington a young Larry fitz.. the catching and route running and big moments

Chuck got Easley killed….as a falcons fan…GO FOYE
Falcons fan rooting on Foye too ❤😂
@@Angrychef-jx8bpi was gonna be so id cane was gonna get rid of him after he regressed so hard 😭
Yoooo Johnson is progressing so welllll
Xavier Bullet has to be the coolest WR name ever
love this series
The ending of that colts game was prime pooch punt territory.
The Madden no huddle clock run off is really aggressive. I've seen more than a couple times where the CPU loses the game because of it when they otherwise would've won
Have you thought about doing a series like this for mlb?
I don’t think you meant 21 times per game! 😂 1:10

Chuck j reminds me of Sam Howell when he was playing with Washington
I wouldnt hold those ints against Johnson too much. If it continues next year then its a concern. He is very young and low overall. He will improve because of his archetype and his intangibles
Would usually always root for cane’s team but as a colts fan it’s hard not to be happy about the colts doing well. been rough in real life 😂
Jags should be moving to London about this time irl 😂

The Colts offense really is a defensive nightmare
I like Chuck Johnson as the starter, but u have to focus his upgrade points on one or two play styles. Spreading it out makes him jack of all trades, master of none. He won't grow quick enough.
I'm actually proud that my team is the only one who beat the Jags in this video.
Where did chuck Johnson go to college? He’s about to be my next RTG lol he’s a 3 star scrambling QB with some off the field issues that made him get drafted in the 6th round
CPU GM for the Colts on God mode with that offense
Next milestone is two more touchdowns, should be doable!

Do you use a custom defensive playbook, Cane?
I don't yet. But that'll be something to work on.
40:15
You know what else is massive
LOWWWWWW TAPER FADEEEEEEEEEE

Sacked 21 times per game …. dang, Cane. LOL Just messing, sir.
Can you post the sliders you run for CPU v CPU?
🚨 spoiler blocker 🚨
I thought chuck Johnson almost became choke Johnson in the titans game
I’m so nervous haha
Spoiler protection!
Kind like a Josh Allen
23:05 well it depends what team you are, and if the refs want you to win or not.
give 29 a map
What difficulty do you use to simulate
And play style
All pro default
21 interceptions per season!?
Always, always take the easy Goal I don‘t think it makes any difference selecting harder goals
Didn't Eli need 14 yards per catch this season? That sure ain't happening with only a game left.
So over Madden trying to help the team that is getting blown out.
playbook.
on xbox?
