Hello! What knife do you recommend for a beginner?

The one I used to work with and which has a good quality is a Flexcut Skew Knife. But you can buy any knife, choose one that does not have a blade that is too wide or too narrow for cutting small chips as well as larger ones.

    A commentary would have helped.
    Great result, though.

Wrong way to chip carve. Not entirely ugh control and too slow. How do you do a long straight line. Wayne Barton has the best method.
