The CH Lighting 4W fluorescent tube has reached EOL

This is a follow up of the tube recorded in last week. ( • Turning on a 4W fluore... )
I noticed the tube started very dim and yesterday, it no longer start properly. The tube also appeared to be mercury starved while the electrodes are still measured continuous.
The life span of this tube is just 5 weeks, but already 1 week longer than the previous one (same brand).
It is very rare that this fixture does not kill the electrode of a tube that is reaching EOL, so the tube has been preserved.

Does this fixture use a capacitive ballast? Maybe that's the explanation for such a short duration

Just these few tubes from the this brand. The others are still fine even they have been used for long time.

I bought it from a household store nearby my home in 2008.
The store is still there today but the fixture is no longer sold since 2013 and this fixture has been discontinued for at least 10 years, the manufacturer's website also no longer exist.
