Hey Man Christ IS Lord! I don' worship anyone but Jesus. Jesse has helped me to understand the Lord. I would never tell you to feel the same about Jesse as I do, as it is not my business. I ask you to preach Jesus' message to the world, and make sure to not spend too much time tearing the people down that you think are false preachers. Only Jesus knows who is real and who is not. I have never heard somebody talk so much about money in my life. It's obscene. He does not worship the lord, he worships money. I know what he is saying, I just don't agree. I have read the Bible many many times. This is classic unbiblical "word of faith" teaching. Not saying the verses you quote, but his application.
Word of faith basically teaches you can claim or speak into existence whatever you want from God. Rather than a proclamation of faith in Christ, it is proclamation of getting whatever you desire, using God as the means. Faith in Christ involves, as I am sure you know, trusting in and submitting to him. Word of faith distorts this so that God answers to the believers' every whim. And in Word of Faith they always except the answer to be yes.

The problem is there are a lot of man-exhalting teachings going on in the church, and I am growing increasingly frustrated that people refuse to see this. Very funny but What verse is that? The rich sharing with the poor is all throughout the NT, Acts 2, Acts 4, 2 Cor8 and 9. But desiring to get rich is not advised in scripture, nor is there a promise that all believers will be rich. We can all be generous and filled with the Spirit.

My concern is that people can take the Word of God out of context, which is - in my opinion - not Satan's strongpoint, but it can be used by Satan if necessary. My example for this is Jesus's temptation, where Satan first relies on Jesus's starvation weakness (make stones become bread), and then quotes scripture when that doesn't work. If people have weakness (poverty etc) there he is to replace God.
God is great and called us according to HIS purpose. Notice in the perfect prayer it says "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." not my will be done. So if your suffering and going through pain and a lifeless life, whose voice are you really following? God wants us to prosper! Read the word! No, I do not believe that hearing and preaching the truth is boring. I believe that only Jesus Christ can take away sin. (and fornication is a sin.) My concern is that people can take the Word of God out of context, which is - in my opinion - not Satan's strongpoint, but it can be used by Satan if necessary. My example for this is Jesus's temptation, where Satan first relies on Jesus's starvation weakness (make stones become bread), and then quotes scripture when that doesn't work. If people have weakness (poverty etc) there he is to replace God.
God is great and called us according to HIS purpose. Notice in the perfect prayer it says "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." not my will be done. So if your suffering and going through pain and a lifeless life, whose voice are you really following? God wants us to prosper! Read the word! All of it not just what you like because that's the only way you will be able to trust in the Lord with all your heart and soul and lean not to your understanding. Logic is in rebellion to faith. S
Let me ask ya all commenter's a question, how intimate is your relationship with God? How many of you have ever seen a miracle? How many of you have ever seen and miracle and are open to let God do another that doesn't fit into your paradigm of thinking? Is God locked inside of a box? Can you bind Him with the restraints of your own paradigm? Do you fully comprihend everything God ever meant inside of His word, word for word, between the lines, the origenal Hebrew? I live here in Ormond and just witnessed this guy build a THIRTEEN MILLION DOLLAR MANSION on the corner of river road and ormond blvd and he paid ZERO taxes on it.I can't help but wonder how many "poor" people that money could have fed.Maybe i'm just a "destiny killer" but frankly,I don't think this guy any better than Jimmy Swaggart,Benny Hinn,or any number of the other false prophets out there.I ll admit tho,i AM jealous of the man.I wish people would line up to just GIVE me their money too

I don't agree with everything Jesse says, but that doesn't mean he's not a saved child of God. The Scriptures say you'll know the righteous by their fruit. Well, what do you see in him? Obviously some good fruit! Just look at his life and attitude to say the least.

No, I do not believe that hearing and preaching the truth is boring. I believe that only Jesus Christ can take away sin. (and fornication is a sin.) My point is that some non-believers find Christians to be serious and grumpy. This makes them not want to accept the message of salvation. I believe that if we live our lives full of the JOY of the Lord, people will want to know why. Then, we can point them to Jesus. This is what I meant earlier. I am sorry for the misundertanding.

@foreverfree56 well, whatever he was preaching at Hillsong, they said it was theologically incorrect and never invited him back. And Hillsong is known for being friendly to name it and claim it, money money money type preaching, so it must have been pretty bad dude! I don't particularly like it when preachers say 'I am the architect of my life...' even if that is out of context it reminds me of freemasons and false religions that abound in our society today which are man centered idolatries.

I know that we should keep our eyes open, because there are many false prophets. I look to other believers for fellowship, and knowledge, but that is never a justification for not searching the scriptures, and seeking God. Many have been decieved because of the neglect of Gods word.

I am particularly upset that this man spent an entire sermon in Australia teaching my younger sister that God wants people to have mansions and cars and private jets, and my sister having to write me an email of her concerns to me. Needless to say, even Hillsong didn't invite this man back because of his bad theology. 'Anointed' and heretic should not be one and the same.
