No idea why RUclips showed me this. I played at Mr paintball USA and played competitively. Dynasty was a huge influence for me. I want to say it was 2005-2009 ish I played there the most. Paint became super expensive and couldn’t keep up with it anymore since I was a kid and thankful my dad supported me through it as much as he could. Came down to it I was only able to bring 1 case of 2k. When I ran out of paint I used to go walk up the long walk to their practice field and watch them over by the field trenches…. Crazy how I still remember all of that. Thanks youtube for memory lane. Oliver was one of the first I met along side with Ryan Greenspan.

Same here! I just bought a luxe Anna’s going back into the sport! We need to grow it! Whether u get back into it or spread the word anything helps. A lot of people don’t realize it’s such an athletic sport

Dynasty match last weekend and looking at greenspans stance while running and shooting I’m like “if I were to go out there again. Bringing ice chest full of ice to wrap my knees between matches” 🤣 I’m 30 and saying this. Terrible lol

I’m sure my Angel still works. Only been 15 years in the storage. If not I’m sure the tipman98 custom still slaps. Those things are the Nokia phones of paintballing🤣

This is a great format and production to have on espn. The 5v5 format is the proper professional format, but this is way better to show what it feels like on the field and how much pressure and how many shots are fired during exchanges. It feels more intense than watching the nxl format, which I love, but to grow public following I think the 1v1 duel is more engaging.
What would be super cool is if they had an announcer that said something like Duel or Joust to start the point vs go go go. Get some pre-recorded stuff and let other fields use it to run their own 1v1 joust / duel.
Love this format now I've seen it. Hopefully we can get 20 of the top pros all going hard at it over a weekend. NXL / Gosports should jump on this tbh and integrate it somehow.

Just watched this in Texas and all I can say is boring. Unless semis or pros are playing there is no movement. The standard D4 to D2 sir back and either lane or jump over the top of bunkers. Snooze-fest.
