Her style comes from trying to hide her insecurities it makes you focus on the apparel and not her.
Shes so unique its crazy how she has such a specific sound and yet her songs all sound different! The best artists have that perfect balance imo. She's awesome! Keeps coming with better and better hits.

I think she was asked about it in an interview and she said she does it not only because she likes to but because she wants her son to be exposed to different styles as well so when he’s older and if he wants to step outside of the normal he’ll be comfortable and when he sees other women with alternative styles he won’t judge them. She said because she didn’t have those kinds of role models, so she often tried to fit in and hide herself, she doesn’t want that for her son.

Strange coincidence the same happened to me. My first sons dad passed away aged 19yr old in 1994 of an known heart condition. . . So this makes me feel some weird connection..... I'd be happy letting a daughter watch this. Love the attitude, style , beats, everything!!!!!

Nobody touching Rico when it comes to originality, diversity, etc. I discovered her during the pandemic when I started listening to only female rappers and I’m so fascinated by the way her mind works.
