On the first game, how does balustrade spy allow you to do that? You mill from top of the deck till you hit a land but yet you just picked up your deck. You could have hit a land with out hitting the cards you needed. Can someone explain

@@jasonnoyola6531 So the deck doesn’t play any traditional land cards, only the mdfc lands that are spells on their front side. So when milling cards it’s not possible to hit a land since balustrade only looks at the characteristics of the front side of the mdfc’s as they are milled. The list is in the description if you’re curious and I have a post-ban updated list that’ll be showcased in an upcoming video. The deck is reckless but a ton of fun! Cheers!

I was looking for videos featuring Roxanne and this one reminded me why I _don't_ play cEDH. What boring, fast games. The winner is always whoever gets lucky and goes off with their combo before anyone else can even play. Why bother playing MtG when you could get the same experience just rolling dice?

@@40Kfrog aw man, sorry you feel that way! If you haven’t actually played cEDH then I would recommend you still give it a try someday to see what it actually feels like. These are probably the two most reckless and quick games I have ever filmed - putting them in the double feature was intentional to highlight their absurd speed and power, but this is not reflective of the whole of the format. Most of the decks here are irresponsible, meaning they don’t play a lot of stack interaction, and that does distill the game into more of a “who can do their thing first” style gameplay. I could have a whole conversation on the intricacies, but at the end of the day competitive gameplay isn’t for everyone and that’s ok! I love both casual and cEDH, but I actually find casual games to be more boring on average, because they often drag on for too long and no one interacts, when taken to the extreme, to me they almost feel the same as the games in this video, just two hours longer. In my years with the game, I’ve played just about every format and I find there are things to love and things to dislike in most, it all comes down to what you’re looking for, but I’d never knock it til you tried it. Best of luck out there friend, I hope you find the games your looking for!

@@40Kfrog hey the Roxanne pilot here, most games of Cedh don’t actually go like this, these where cherry picked games from our recoding sessions to give dockside, crypt, and lotus a proper send off
