- Wire mandala toy - How to make wire decorations
I rarely make samples that are not jewelry. But this toy is quite interesting, so decided to make a guide to more people know this toy.
This pattern can be made with copper wire but will be very soft. I use stainless steel wire to make the product more stiff and not deformed during the game. - Хобби
This is a great tutorial, very detailed and easy to follow. I used it today to make one since I had all the tools necessary, I was worried I would get confused and it wouldn't work but everything went great and I'm really happy with the result. Thank you so much for having taken the time to make this video !
Thank you very much. I'm glad my work positively affects you, Hope you find more useful things from my channel
Thanks for the tutorial. I saw a viral Tik Tok recently someone sold this and I was curious on how to make one myself as they didn't show exactly how they made it eg, wire gauge, length etc... I just had to type in a different name to what they called it to find your tutorial which showed this actually has been around for a while and was not the actual original idea I saw the viral Tik Tok it came from. They just used pretty good marketing to get themselves known.
😉☺ Hope you find more useful things from my channel
Thank you for this tutorial! I'm a newcomer to wire work and I made something very pretty thanks to you! For anyone looking for things to bend wire around for specific sizes, I used two sockets from a socket wrench set and I foresee them being useful in the future.
thank you for this tutorial! I had one of these years ago, and loved it! I used it as a bun cover for my hair too!
I have seen quite a few of these on social media but none had good instructions. Your video is well made and detailed, just what I was looking for, thank you!
thanks, Hope you find more useful things from my channel
had one of these years ago and lost it, searched the internet and found they were called mandalas, found these instructions, have made three so far. interesting toy. thanks for sharing.

I love watching your amazing and unique videos! I've never seen anything like this and I am literally going out to but the materials as soon as I possibly can!
I'm glad that my work is useful to you, wish you make a lot of beautiful products
Thanks for this video. I have some super-nice versions of this I got in Prague about 25 years ago. The maker had all the lengths measured out perfectly so the outer petals could pop through the middle on both sides. I actually made friends with him and went to his house, where he showed me how to make them. So I have made exactly one (!) but I hope to make more.
Wish you success and make more beautiful products
I have never seen these before but they are gorgeous. Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial.

I'm glad that my work is useful to you, wish you success
In the vid she shows using stainless steel wire 18 & 20 gauge. I got some from Amazon (delivered today ☺) about $7 each
Tbird2191 you can also use picture frame wire (stainless steel) 😊😉much less expensive. Use ur judgment. Mine looks like a copper 21g
But it's much more sturdy wire using stainless steel from Lowe's or home depot etc. (For those out there that want to make a ton and maybe don't want to spend a ton. Lol
@@sarahhernandez6377 Hello Sarah. Can you tell me the gauge of this stainless steel wire that you mentioned. Thank you.

This is awesome. Thanks for the tutorial. Unfortunately my first try didn't go as planned. I have a bad habit of watching a bit of the videos and then decide that I got it and do it. Sometimes I go in the wrong direction and that's what happened here.😂 Next time I'll make sure to watch the video before and follow the pace.😂
thanks, with new pattern I have to do a few times before success, wish you success

Yay. Easier video to follow. 🙂 Looks pretty easy. 🙂 Then you just make two and put them together. ❤️ Probably would take me two days to make it. It is so neat. I like the big one too.

Hi Lan!☺How are you feeling my friend, hope your feeling better☺Again I am amazed at your creativity👍what a unique toy! I enjoy all your video's Lan! May God continue to bless all that you do!
Thank you, I'm fine
I just watched your video and I love the toy. I think it would help me a lot with concentration in the class. So i can't wait to come home and make one myself.
thank you liked my work, wish you make a lot of beautiful products
thanks
Amazing. You make it look so easy. I wonder if it would work with small seed beads on the "half hook" wires as well? Can't wait to try.
You'd probably have to affix them in the middle of the bend to keep them from binding things up but it would add some color
You can try new ideas, wish you success
Thank You ! Blessings
thanks, I'm happy to share my work with everyone
You really are amazing and very good at showing exactly how to do it Much Love

So cool, however I have become insanely crazed while attempting to make this. I must admit, I cannot make this work. Your work is beautiful, mine won't stop bending uncontrollably. I tried, 3 times. Maybe another day. Thankyou for sharing though, beautiful work!

@@LanAnhHandmade vou fazer uma hoje! Gostei muito!!!!!
I just finished making 2 of these for Christmas gifts. My daughter found the one I plan to give my sister. My daughter is 13 so prying her away from her phone is insanely difficult. She started playing with this and did not touch her phone the rest of the night. She's so getting one!

Have the bracelet part done. Second row having issues with. Not as easy as it looks. lol. 18 gauge wire is not easy to work with either. lol. I think I poked myself a few times with that wire and tried to hurt myself with pliers on making this. But it will be worth it. Cause I am determined to make it.
with new pattern I have to do a few times before success, wish you success
I remember I had one of those as a kid and i loved it. Sadly i dont know where it is now.
thanks, Wish you have a good time with my channel
You can also use picture frame wire (stainless steel) 😉much less expensive. Use ur judgment on size. But u want , well Mine looks like (if it were copper) looks like a 21-22g
But it's much more sturdy wire using stainless steel (picture frame wire) from Lowe's or home depot etc. (For those out there that want to make a ton of mandalas & maybe don't want to spend a ton. Lol 😗 ps- it's good inexpensive wire to practice with as well. (Just basics tho) ✌rock on!
Thank you for your information
Wow that's nostalgic and beautiful and awesome. It's no where near as hard as I thought it would be...hardest part Is probably holding on to it lol thanks for the video!

Fantastic tutorial! Thanks for sharing. What kind of wire do you use? Seems I can only find either very soft wire or "memory" wire that is so stiff that it won't change its shape at all...
with this model, it is recommended to use wire with high stiffness, for example stainless steel wire or memory wire
I adore all your videos. What be the wire measurements for the larger mandala that you are holding at the end of the clip
I made this video a long time ago, so I don't remember the exact size. you can x them all by ratio 1.5
Hola!!
Love this tutorial! Any tips to make it more stiff so it holds its shape better?
you can use a wire with a higher stiffness or use a wire with a larger diameter to increase the rigidity of the product
@@LanAnhHandmade Thanks!
Thank you so muchhhhh!!! I have waiting for this tutorial, looks wonderful, I will try later!!
I hope you are better!! all the best for you, Hugs!!

Oh. I remember this. I had one when I was 5! It was my favorite toy! I am pretty sure I broke it though.😅
thank you for watching my clip, Wish you have a good time with my channel
Lan Anh Handmade, oh absolutely I use you channel as reference when I am stumped with a costume design😄 You are a huge inspiration
I'm glad that my work is useful to you, I also hope to inspire more people.Wish you make many products as you like

thanks for watching. Sorry, I don't understand what you mean
Super.

ok good brother ....
😉
hi, I really really like your video. it's so easy compared to other video. I'd like to make one myself, but bigger. I don't know how to measure the length for the wire. Could you tell me the length for 10cm diameters? Thank you
oh, and what about the size of the other mandala wire? I'd really appreciate your help
thank you liked , You can calculate relative : Circle = circumference + 0,5cm , arc = 1/2 circumference - 1cm
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!🤗🤗
Neat! Just discovered these things! What kind of wire should I use ?
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire (type of wire not used to make jewelry, Its price is very cheap) . it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time
you can change to suit the material you have
Great, thanks for the quick reply! :)
Hi, what size are the wire pieces for the bigger mandala? I love your unique tutorials and you amaze me how consistent you are with your shaping, I aspire to be half as good as you. Thank you
thanks you liked, I do not have big size stainless steel wire so I can only make small ones. the sizes can be customized according to preferences
wish you make a lot of beautiful products
Very nice👍 where do you get this ideas
I'm happy that my work is useful to you, Everything around me can turn into a creative inspiration, hope I will inspire you as well as others.
Do you think this might be stronger and more durable if done in 18 gauge?
with large size i tried with copper wire but its not sure. you should do it with stainless steel wire. i am planning to do it in small size to make a copper wire jewelry, if successful i will make a video
Hi there .interesting . I tried but I blocked .because I don t know what kind thickness I have to to use for thé stainless wire 😓
In the video I used 0.8mm wire, you can use any wire you have
Having the Hardest time connecting the 3rd row to the second beaded circle. Can't seem to keep them going where they need to be. Over, under.... any advice
I don't know any advice. just be careful to follow along one direction
❤❤❤
I don't get 4cm diameter with your measurements after rounding the 13cm length and making two eyes my crown is slightly under 4cm. Same gauge wire, mine has seemingly come out smaller?
in the process will have the wrong number because of different materials. you can + a few centimeters to depreciate.
wish you make a lot of beautiful products
Me too
If you left one end open could it be made into a hair bun cage? I would love to know how to make one of those.
I give parameters for reference only, the sizes can be customized according to preferences
How can we know the ratio of measurements between the big circle and the small ones? Thank you very much!
small circle = about 3/4 large circle, wish you make a lot of beautiful products
Thank you very much!
Does this design only work with spherical beads?
you can still use beads of other shapes, but the best is spherical beads
❤️
☺😘
