SOLUTION:
1. f(a) is always negative.
2. f(b) is always positive.
3. Substitute in formula with initial values of "a, f(a), b, f(b)" that you got by trial & method.
4. Now you have a value for c.
5. Now consider the value of c as f(x). Means substitute value of c in the given equation.
6. If the value of c is negative then c is the value of your new a and f(c) is value of f(a).
7. If the value of c is positive then c is the value of your new b and f(c) is the value of f(b).
8. Now again substitute in formula and repeat from step 4 again respective to the time of iterations asked in the question.
TRIAL AND ERROR METHOD:
1. Replace x with 0,1,2,3...... in the given equation.
2. The last negative number you find is f(a) and the first positive you find is f(b).
3. Remember you replaced x? Whatever you replaced x to find negative and positive is your a and b respectively. Meaning replaced number is a and b and the answer of that replaced number is f(a) and f(b). So a and b will be anything between 0,1,2,3,4..... but if a=3 then sure b=4 OR if a=6 then b=7 OR if a=3.1 then b=3.2
