To the average people who buys the typical cheap Walmart bikes, this bike is very expensive. I've had my Allez for 2 years (going for 3) and it's been amazing!!
@@FD-rh6tr I'd rather spend money on quality parts, then waste money for a new bike. I recommend going with an older tarmac if you want it that much compared to a new Allez, guaranteed the tarmac would weigh less, cost less, and have better parts

When the components start coming to their end of life, people learn to replace them one at a time. Eventually, people can build a bike like this guy and it all seems easy because you learn and gather tools a little bit at a time. That's the beauty of buying a first nice road bike. You start with the seat height, chain, cassette, tubes, tires, rear hub ball bearings, hub body, truing the wheels, redoing the cables, adjusting spacers on handlebars, redoing grip tape, bottom bracket. Then you realize you can build a bike from scratch because it is fulfilling and worthwhile to learn how everything works so you can fix it yourself without having to leave your bike somewhere for a few days for someone to look at it.

nice bike, my allez from 2015 is still strong after 25000 km, some changes i had and from 9,3 kg now is 7,8 :)
