I've seen other versions and this is not messed up. So they changed the percussion music, they switched parts 1 and 3, they have the different instruments for the solos in part 2, big deal. I think the switch is more dynamic and that's why this show got the 94.85 that it deserved. This is coming from someone who was on the field when they preformed and an alumni of the band (2003-2006). Congrats everyone!!!
I'm glad you only heard the chant through other people. I heard about the chant: however, the person who "finished" the chant faced consequences. (No one respected nor expected the ending.) Who are you to judge how we acted the night of all states? You didn't know we sang Queen on the way home on the bus. Who are you to judge us? Anyway, I can't believe, after two months, I am talking about this. I wasn't even part of it.
now now, no need to get worked up. we won first place. we had talented people in the band to rearrange the music in order for it to be more compatable with the band. anyhow, our pit is definitely one of the top pits ever...to be least frank. and we were pumped so naturally, the music was rushed.
Whether we're "in a marching band" or not doesn't change the fact that we didn't know about the breaking ranks deal. It's obvious that spitting on other people is rude - I'm pretty sure that's why whoever did it, did it. Now, I'm not saying this to justify their actions.
If you haven't noticed, we never tried being open. Being open isn't exactly something to be proud of for us. Although I can't say I was the one who personally spit in your face, I think I know why. That day at states and your band's business about "Don't break arm" caused some tension. Physical contact beats spit, I guess. Congratulations.
i don't agree with the "messed up version" statement - you could have used something lighter. that's wonderful if you got a higher score which means you a) have a much larger band or b) you live in the south. either way, thanks for the comment. the criticism just wasn't necessary - our season is over.
Eh open bands... If I took ur two points away I bet we'd bet you, besides this band BEAT open bands this season. So I think you should do your research BEFORE you open your mouth. And I agree with mr. oo on this one; seriously if your not in the same USSBA circuit as us or your in TOB there is no comparision (unless your in Texas, then I'll say differently)...

I am not kidding you you can almost hear after the first song was done... you hear ECW! ECW! ECW. Also I made a judge cry of happiness. Peace. CSW

We felt like champions.
This is excellent, best of luck in 2008!
in addition, constructive criticism isn't usually followed up with a "i'm better than you."
