The problem with these Haram police is that they shut the door on many young people and shatter the little hope that they have left, they make it seem like only one out of a thousand can make it to jannah, but Allah has said in his book that it's the other way round, we just need to be on the right path and not necessarily in the destination. Allah knows best. May he preserve all of us.
Salam bro, but I think you are mistaken, and no offense, but another thing I noticed about those throwing around the "haram police" label is that often times, they say the "haram police" are spreading wrong information just by using their pure intellect, which doesn't make any sense. Like, you just said 999/1000 WILL make it into Jannah - where did you get or hear that from?
How can it be the other way around (1000-1 people go to Jannah)? Most of mankind (die) as disbelievers and are going to hell. And even in our own ummah, there will be 73 sects and 72 will go to hell. So it's clear that only a minority out of mankind will go to Jannah. Doesn't mean it's unattainable, just stick to the Quran and Sunnah and try your best.
hadeeth was narrated by al-Bukhaari (6529) from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The first one to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam. He will be shown his progeny and it will be said, ‘This is your father Adam.’ He will say, ‘Here I am at Your service.’ He will say: ‘Bring forth those who are to be sent to Hell from among your progeny.’ He will say, ‘O Lord, how many should I bring forth?’ He will say, ‘Bring forth from every hundred ninety nine.’” They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, if ninety nine are taken from every hundred of us, what will be left of us?” He said, “My ummah, among the other nations, is like a white hair on a black bull.”
Keep this Hadith in mind when you tell people to mind their business "The most hated speech to Allah is when a man says to another man, ‘Fear Allah!’and he replies, ‘Worry about your own self!’ ”.
Tbh mostly the Haram Police or so called preachers are bigger sinners without good character. It's better to have good character than just preach. Having good character is also Dawah. There are so many incidents when the kuffar saw Muhammed's pbuh (other prophets pbuh and Sahabas raz) character and turned to ISLAM. I'm not just saying having good character is enough but first practice what you preach and then do preach politely. Spread Love and Kindness the way Muhammed pbuh (prophets pbuh and Sahabas raz) thought us. Peace.
It’s not what it seems. The people the majority of us call “haram police” are those who are self righteous and yell at you about what’s haram, being over all rude, instead of just nicely reminding you that something’s haram.
Nope, I honestly think those "arrogant" haram police aren't that common. It seems to me that merely pointing out something is haram gets you the "haram police" label. I see it all the time on here.
This reminds me of surah al-Ashr: "Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience." Yes, it is our obligation to remind others what's wrong or right and be patience about it. Brother Kamal has a good point of the reason why. But we cannot expect someone to change/make tawba after hearing our reminder/advice, because it is Allah's rightful authority. As He says: “Verily, Allah sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills.” [Faatir, 35:8]
I think we have all seen the good and the bad when it comes to Muslims trying to advise other Muslims. There were times when I would find a comment or admonition to be so repulsive and rude and untimely that it was almost sure to repel me. But I have also received advice in such a kind and beautiful way that I only felt closer to that individual and truly benefited from it. The truth is that advice is from one of the important aspects of this religion. We all want for each other what we want for ourselves. But before we advise and admonish we must learn how to do it in the correct manner, with the right words and at the right time. Great video as always.
we are tough in school how to advice in Islam. I'm from Dubai and I thanks god for that.some people take these lessons like its not a big deal but in reality it is.
@Ali Chaudhry On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Verily the most beloved speech to Allaah is the servant’s saying, ‘Subhaanak Allaahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta’aalaa jad-duka wa laa ilaaha ghayruk.’ *The most hated speech to Allaah is when a man says to another man, ‘Fear Allaah!’ and he replies, ‘Worry about your own self!’ “*
I don't know about you but most of these "haram police" don't accept other people's views and are very judgmental and self-righteous. They have no etiquette in giving advice. Their comments are very mean and assuming worse in people. We don't really need people like these.
livingsensei the video talks about the bad haram police and how we should advice people without hurting them and how people should accept advice ☺️☺️please watch the video☺️
Haram police is actually a derogatory term specially used to describe those who characteristically advise to righteousness BUT with harshness and close mindedness . So these kind people that advise aren't " haram police " but instead just normal Muslims we should all be inshallah :) So inshallah let's all advise to righteousness and not be like the haram police but instead adopt a gentle Manner
It is indeed a very important topic in our current time. The Muslims who have been affected by western secular liberal ideology are blindfolded to the truth of Islam. What is so dangerous about that is these Muslims often deny outright Islamic ethics to accommodate liberal ethics, such as "minding one's own business". But in Islam, we don't mind *our own business* when public actions lead us to astray. We have been instructed to prevent people from wrongdoing and enjoin in good deeds. While this video makes excellent point about the need of "haram police", it also undermines how arrogant and aggressive those so-called progressive Muslims are. We Muslims as a community need to respond to the nonsensical rhetoric of the liberal secular Muslims strongly using our intellect and wisdom.
In the last few years the concept of calling to good and forbidding evil became a taboo so mashaAllah for trying to reclaim a concept so embedded into the Quran and our religion!
Thanks for speaking about this issue it's really frustrating seeing others doing something wrong and when I try to advise they just pull out the haram police card.
This is so true. No matter how guided one is, there can be moments of shakiness in our iman. therefore, it will be really beneficial to have someone there to steady us and drive us back on track.
Thank you very much that was an amazing video and a wise speech that is getting more and more rare nowadays unfortunately discussing a wide spread phenomenon representing a serious problems in the majority of Muslims communities and society since telling every advisor "it's not of yoy business " or "only god can judge me"can make us commiting sins blindly and believing that we're right

Brother, Jazak Allah Khairn for this Important video, really really we need to understand how we advise each other + we have to clarify more about Haram Police phobia.
Subhan'Allah a very powerful reminder and wake up call to all us Muslims! Sadly we have brother's & sister's today who say "Nobody can judge me." and "Only Allah can judge me." To enjoin good and forbid evil is a job and a duty for every single Muslim with an ounce of Emaan in their hearts not just one person. We are told very clearly in an authentic Hadith: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted." - [At-Tirmidhi]. Allah ﷻ Himself says in the Qu'ran - 'And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.' - Surah Ali 'Imran [3:104] The sooner the Ummah comes back to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, the sooner the state of the Ummah will improve. May Allah forgive us all for our shortcomings and our sins and may He keep our hearts steadfast upon His deen and the Haqq and make us from the people of Jannah. Allahummah Ameen.

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ *_You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah._* - (Imran, Ayah 110) And no, just because I tell you something is haram (with proof from the Quran and Sunnah) in a respectful way, it doesn’t mean I am judging you. I am just telling you pure facts. But If I was being judgmental, then I would be telling you, “you are going to go to hell! You are going to get wrath from Allah! You are not a good believer!” Or something along those lines.
The Glorious Quran the point is some people do it agressively and don't tell you the reason behind WHY you should do it. If you just say "Allah said to do it, then do it" It wouldn't motivate people to do it with everything they've got, ofcourse we must do it. But for us to do it and love it we have to explain it calmly and beautifully to make people understand why it's fard and why they should do it
leave look at your filthy mouth u useless piece of shit "Allah said to do it" IS ENOUGH IF YOU ARE A MUSLIM 😐😐😐 who else are u suppose to obey and worship I don't have to give u a reason this is not philosophy This is the RELIGION OF ISLAM like the prophet said(PBUH) :HEAR AND OBEY
😱😱😱😱Amazing!!!!!! U always make us understand with intersting example & I thought in this era no boys r religious, everybody is bad! but I see there r some religious boys. *Thank u for making such a great channel.I didn't expect this frm any young boy*
Very pertinent topic and your video was spot on in its message, with legit references to the scripture and hadith.. JazakAllah for producing it brother!
Suppose a Christian comes to you and says 'being a muslim is a sin' Now what? Now imagine everyone from every single religion keep warning others publicly against what their religion says is a sin.. If you now say 'we are right, you are all wrong', you are carrying this 'self-righteousness' that you despised in your speech.
Dear +Dark Suns, I think you missunderstood what he mean. He meant inside a community (for instance the muslim community) people should advice and help each other in a positive sense. He meant remembering somebody to do good and prevent bad is NOT a bad thing. He didn't mean that we should tell everybody (also outside the community) what their mistakes etc are. Hope you have a good day^^ from austria ;)
Thank you for adressing this topic, we need to advise brothers/sisters if we have clear knowledge about the situation. Me myself does it wrong often by saying things to fast without thinking twice
He is right, Have you ever been in a country where islamic attrocties have been rampant? Muhammad was a warlord who killed and maimed many, raped a child and you follow him?
Amazing ! May Allah bless everyone in this channel ! Gradually when in our society Muslims started to ignore their brothers/sisters sins, and replying harshly just because they are warning, is something we really must avoid. Remember, Prophet(s) and all other Messengers and Prophets were no one but warners. People did asked them not to disturb in their way of thinking. And moreover, we are one Ummah right? One big family. When I'll see my brother or sister from my Ummah, my family is going astray, I should immediately feel a sense of responsibilty to guide them. We are here to strive to be better Muslims so we get to be in Jannah, how can we stay put seeing others going astray? Of course, it's annoying when someone always fires "Haram-Haram" over small little things. All we need is to change our way of approaching. Not everyone, everyday stays high on imaan, we should help each other to achieve that in the Prophetic manner. Oh Muslims ! We are one family, when one gets hurt, the entire ummah feels the pain. When one goes astray, it's dragging others too. Stay blessed. May Allah bless you to be high on imaan. Assalamu alaikum.
I definitely believe it’s 99% in the approach. Some people can definitely come off as arrogant and discouraging. But I think if you have a real heart to heart with someone and say “hey this is wrong because...” then a lot of people , even if they don’t take your advice would receive it better
May Allah SWT guide us. Ameen. May He SWT also allow us to take good advice and constructive criticism. And may He SWT make our da'wah effective, by beautifying our character and having our words affect the hearts of the recipients of advice. Ameen Thumma Ameen.
I wasn't talking just about the haram police, the whole society in Saudi plays the role of haram police becasue of this idealogy. Our sins are our own. Allah is the judge. Stop watching people's sins and watch yours. This is how it should be.
Waad Janbi yeah that's actually very true, as long as you sin without harming others, Allah is to judge, but also don't sin publicly, cuz that affects everyone
*Waad Janbi -* It's like you don't even watched the video. You're using the same old argument. There are some bad manners "haram police" I grant you that. But it doesn't necessitate its important role to advice others in a kind and respected manners. They shoudn't be there to judge you, but just to advice. You shouldn't be defensive when getting a sincere advice from someone with "only God can judge me" mentality.
Advising one another is part of the religion. If you see your brother or sister slip up then you want to speak to them privately and advise them if necessary. There is a way to go about these things that will not harm or hurt anyone.
I don’t think so, bro, because only some few sins actually have a punishment in the sharia, as for others like a woman not wearing hijab or a man not having beard, even tho it’s an open sin, sharia does not prevent it by law. This is where advice of other people come in place.
Bazel Merchad lol. I am a westerner... On top of that, I’m saying that sharia law would not erradicante sin as a whole. Well, I guess you don’t get English very well to understand my previous comment...
Thankyou brother i personally have a cousin who always skips prayers and when ever i tell him he to pray he just ignores So i just stopped telling him But now i know thankyou for the information
The Gamers Inc. Be sure to make lots and lots of sincere dua for the brother. I have a family member who never prayed for many, many years. It took a lot of prayer from me and reminders (not in an overdone way, but at the right times), and all praise is due to Allah, she has begun to pray regularly. We do not need the haram police or such a label. It carry's negative connotations. What we need is a community of people who call to others to islam or good acts with love and mercy and to advice people with our characters and Adab.
YES I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT this as well. We sort of need people to correct and advice us otherwise people would just sin openly and everyone will be okay with it. its horrible the way the haram police go about it but its somewhat necessary.
I know we need "haram police" but many are just mean and arrogant and act so holier-than-thou. some are so quick to judge. some snoop around looking for haram things we do up to spying on what we do in the privacy of our home!
MashaAllah this video is so great brother! Many more Muslims need to understand and see this video ❤️👏🏼 love your work, really appreciate it! May Allah reward you for it 🌹
Thanks for bringing this topic up. How will change happen when only people who like you subscribe for you? They do it because they agree with you meanwhile, the “haram police” almost never reach or give time to hear you out? I feel frustrated and sick of standing up all by my self explaining right from wrong. It feels like people out there are becoming as ignorant as they want and only religious in what they want.
What’s the quote from the Quran from that please?
Peace.

People who use the word "haram police" are really saying "Let me sin in peace / without being bothered"
Thats what is seems like.
I agree with you. I've seen a lot of well intended advices going labeled "haram police" simply for having been a religious naseeha.
Well said
This reminds me of surah al-Ashr:
"Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience."
Yes, it is our obligation to remind others what's wrong or right and be patience about it. Brother Kamal has a good point of the reason why. But we cannot expect someone to change/make tawba after hearing our reminder/advice, because it is Allah's rightful authority. As He says:
“Verily, Allah sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills.” [Faatir, 35:8]

*"we must learn how to do it in the correct manner, with the right words and at the right time"* 👍👍👍
I absolutely agree. Let’s use our beloved Nabi Saw and his companions as the guide.
we are tough in school how to advice in Islam. I'm from Dubai and I thanks god for that.some people take these lessons like its not a big deal but in reality it is.
nailed it
@Ali Chaudhry On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Verily the most beloved speech to Allaah is the servant’s saying, ‘Subhaanak Allaahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta’aalaa jad-duka wa laa ilaaha ghayruk.’ *The most hated speech to Allaah is when a man says to another man, ‘Fear Allaah!’ and he replies, ‘Worry about your own self!’ “*

“Deen squad” should see this

Yeah xd
please subscribe please why?
Haram police is actually a derogatory term specially used to describe those who characteristically advise to righteousness BUT with harshness and close mindedness .
So these kind people that advise aren't " haram police " but instead just normal Muslims we should all be inshallah :)
So inshallah let's all advise to righteousness and not be like the haram police but instead adopt a gentle
Manner
Exactly. What Ice Cube said about the police? That’s how I feel lol.
I have been waiting for a video for so long!!
Thanks for speaking about this issue it's really frustrating seeing others doing something wrong and when I try to advise they just pull out the haram police card.

Sadly we have brother's & sister's today who say "Nobody can judge me." and "Only Allah can judge me."
To enjoin good and forbid evil is a job and a duty for every single Muslim with an ounce of Emaan in their hearts not just one person. We are told very clearly in an authentic Hadith:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted." - [At-Tirmidhi].
Allah ﷻ Himself says in the Qu'ran - 'And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.' - Surah Ali 'Imran [3:104]
The sooner the Ummah comes back to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, the sooner the state of the Ummah will improve. May Allah forgive us all for our shortcomings and our sins and may He keep our hearts steadfast upon His deen and the Haqq and make us from the people of Jannah. Allahummah Ameen.

I have rejoiced in your Islam and your repentance to God. My brother in God continued to offer your favor on a straight path
*_You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah._* -
(Imran, Ayah 110)
And no, just because I tell you something is haram (with proof from the Quran and Sunnah) in a respectful way, it doesn’t mean I am judging you.
Dude why do you take so long to post? Your videos are by far the best and most change and thought provoking. May Allah protect and reward you brother.
Welcome back after long time

Can you put a translation for Arabic please😍🤗
This video opened my eyes to something deep. Jazakallah khairan.
Masha-allah good talking.
Very pertinent topic and your video was spot on in its message, with legit references to the scripture and hadith.. JazakAllah for producing it brother!
Suppose a Christian comes to you and says 'being a muslim is a sin'
Now what? Now imagine everyone from every single religion keep warning others publicly against what their religion says is a sin..
If you now say 'we are right, you are all wrong', you are carrying this 'self-righteousness' that you despised in your speech.
Nice.
Of course, he'd double-talk his way out of it faster than a shark in a paper bag.
Dear +Dark Suns,
I think you missunderstood what he mean. He meant inside a community (for instance the muslim community) people should advice and help each other in a positive sense. He meant remembering somebody to do good and prevent bad is NOT a bad thing.
He didn't mean that we should tell everybody (also outside the community) what their mistakes etc are.
Hope you have a good day^^
from austria ;)
Ali Momken,
What's the difference? If someone truly believes and truly wants to "help" you, you will learn pretty fast what your "mistakes" are.
Yeah that's what I mean.
But it also requieres YOU to be open about it and DONT reject the "help". Thats exactly what this video is about :)
This guy is like the Jeremy Ethier of Islamic advice (if anyone follows the fitness videos). Very soothing and peacefully motivational ❤
i always enjoy your videos !!
Yassss finally someone who approaches this topic logically
From Uzbekistan
you are back, Alhamdulillah.. it's good to see you and thank you for sharing these knowledge ^^
much love.
Thank you for adressing this topic, we need to advise brothers/sisters if we have clear knowledge about the situation. Me myself does it wrong often by saying things to fast without thinking twice
stop acting cute and peacefull and stuff , this acts won't hide the untold truths about islam dark history and acts throughout history
He is right, Have you ever been in a country where islamic attrocties have been rampant? Muhammad was a warlord who killed and maimed many, raped a child and you follow him?
Jealousy comes when you can’t see someone who is humble as him. Subhanallah
From INDIA
thats sad for india, you want the haram police over here?
where r u in India
Thank you. I hope this will reach the ummah..
She's already married to Andre Balazs.
domoreresearchyouknownothingabout and so on Well do more research on the word ummah as your pseudo suggests. But good joke. X)
THANK YOU ♥ KEEP GOING :-)
I definitely believe it’s 99% in the approach. Some people can definitely come off as arrogant and discouraging. But I think if you have a real heart to heart with someone and say “hey this is wrong because...” then a lot of people , even if they don’t take your advice would receive it better

Dude go live in Saudi then say we need haram police.
Waad Janbi watch the video first, he's saying that these people who call themselves "Haram police" are bad and they're absolutely wrong
May Allah (swt) grant us the wisdom to advise our brothers without arrogance, anger in a polite way
Brother have you fallen from jannah😛
aamin ali,
That's not a good thing.
domoreresearchyouknownothingabout and so on okay haram police👮♂️👮♂️
aamin ali,
Good one 😎
A ship? That is the silliest analogy I've ever heard.
We don't need haram police if we install sharia law
😂😂
sri krishna yeah Shariah law will end all sins
I don’t think so, bro, because only some few sins actually have a punishment in the sharia, as for others like a woman not wearing hijab or a man not having beard, even tho it’s an open sin, sharia does not prevent it by law. This is where advice of other people come in place.
Bazel Merchad lol. I am a westerner...
On top of that, I’m saying that sharia law would not erradicante sin as a whole. Well, I guess you don’t get English very well to understand my previous comment...
Thankyou brother i personally have a cousin who always skips prayers and when ever i tell him he to pray he just ignores
So i just stopped telling him
But now i know thankyou for the information
The Gamers Inc. Be sure to make lots and lots of sincere dua for the brother. I have a family member who never prayed for many, many years. It took a lot of prayer from me and reminders (not in an overdone way, but at the right times), and all praise is due to Allah, she has begun to pray regularly. May your cousin be from among the steadfast in prayer and grant you both Jannah. 🌙
Masha Allah your channel is so awesome. it has a purpose.

We do not need the haram police or such a label. It carry's negative connotations. What we need is a community of people who call to others to islam or good acts with love and mercy and to advice people with our characters and Adab.
Thank you for coming back brother... We really need people like u to show what the right islam is... Keep going & may ALLAH protect u

Barakawallahufeak ... Happend to me .... Mostly my friend even my family .... Even I do trying to said nicely .. may Allah always guide us ,
YES I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT this as well. We sort of need people to correct and advice us otherwise people would just sin openly and everyone will be okay with it. its horrible the way the haram police go about it but its somewhat necessary.
Many Muslims philosophers compared the Haram police to those destroying the ship indeed it makes most sense

However, thanks for bringing it up, and hope this vid can make a change
