For this reason your compilation is more engaging to me than listening for 9 hours to the same composer. Each new sonata that comes up is like hearing the voice of a dear old friend. 😊 While I love all the composers you’ve included: played, taught and enjoyed listening for many years, I would recommend to add more selections by Franz Schubert. For some reason his sonatas (thanks for including Op. 120 in A here) hit me so emotionally. I’ve been a subscriber for several years but this is by far my favorite upload. Caused me to reinvestigate your other selections which I’m looking forward to hearing.

My twin sister learned how to play the piano when she and I were not even 10 years old. I took enough lessons to be able to handle Chopsticks but told my mother I would not be able to learn. My left hand could not accompany my right no matter how hard I tried. I had no trouble mastering a typewriter which puzzled my sister. Now, when we are 72, I still wish I could have learned to play the piano. You must get great satisfaction from not only learning how to play but polishing your skills to the level you have. Bravo.

@@HALIDONMUSIC I’m about half way through and they’re all great choices! I appreciate the variety and how you’ve combined the various composers and styles. For this reason your compilation is more engaging to me than listening for 9 hours to the same composer. Each new sonata that comes up is like hearing the voice of a dear old friend. 😊
While I love all the composers you’ve included: played, taught and enjoyed listening for many years, I would recommend to add more selections by Franz Schubert. For some reason his sonatas (thanks for including Op. 120 in A here) hit me so emotionally.
I’ve been a subscriber for several years but this is by far my favorite upload. Caused me to reinvestigate your other selections which I’m looking forward to hearing.

My twin sister learned how to play the piano when she and I were not even 10 years old. I took enough lessons to be able to handle Chopsticks but told my mother I would not be able to learn. My left hand could not accompany my right no matter how hard I tried. I had no trouble mastering a typewriter which puzzled my sister. Now, when we are 72, I still wish I could have learned to play the piano. You must get great satisfaction from not only learning how to play but polishing your skills to the level you have. Bravo.
