My Zipslip arrived today and it's edge was really disappointing. Did the ol' paper test and it just tore and ripped the paper. No real edge at all. I'll give it a hone and strop next week and hopefully that'll help. It doesn't have that satisfying half stop click and then close sound either. It looks great, just a bit disappointed with it out of the box.
Love my zipslip,very hard to explain why but i just do,even my missus liked the look and feel of it and she's one of those who rolls her eyes when yet another knife is delivered...i use it in rotation with the wasp and banter and i honestly cant seperate them at work exept the Kizer just 'feels' like a better made knife.Gonna be using these 3 for a long long time.Nice review👍

I’m no expert, but your videos are geared towards euro edc. In my opinion they’re are two types of knife people, users and collectors. Collectors collect knives and have user knives, where as user have a collection of knives they use. Two circles that overlap and meet in the middle. Which is why i suggest you try reviewing exclusive/sprint/limited edition versions of knives so that you can meet them both in the middle. Nice materials to gawk at while still having a beast of an everyday user. Anyhow i really enjoyed the review and i think your doing a great job, keep up the good content!
Hi Sean, you make a fair point... however, most of my knifes are UK legal - I thought they had more relaxed laws over on the continent with knifes, so you can EDC bigger one's... so I'm surprised you feel I am 'targeting just Europe - interesting insight though, so thanks...👍 Just to clarify, first & foremost I'm for the UK/US market. I have used knifes since 9, always have, always will. Now I'm 52 and recently started the channel, if you go onto the 'About section - you can see what I intend I review etc... hope that helps...
Good to see this review - I've been hesitating about pushing the button on one of these for a while... Knife Porn is all very well, but I'm not sure I want a close anagram of the female organ engraved into the backspine.

Yes, a kwik stud does help with opening.
One thing bugging me is the lack of a lanyard hole, otherwise it is perfect.
