More realistic graphics are scarier when they emulate something that is frightening or macabre in real life. The elements themselves are scary whether or not you're lead to believe your game is tripping out.

In the fights with trainers and wild pokemon, none of them are actually being represented with some sort of desire to consume you as raw meat, which is why a loss is just you blacking out and rescued by a pokemon center(where you go to get you and your pokemon healed). I think this creepy pasta is an extremely clever joke on game sharkers who "disrespect the dead" in pokemon.

Why greens never been released outside of Japan and they eventually released blue version with the same programming as green v 1.2. if you can actually find an original copy of pocket monsters green with 95 release date not the 96 v 1.2 you can easily access it by not getting the Silph scope and running from the ghost on the stars with a pokedoll but it just freezes the game and messes up the graphics like missing no because they tried removing it and put the old man with the flute into the same space

A Alakazam could ko Gengar and Muk and then you could either have weak mons for transform or something like Rhydon if it were to transform into something like Raichu for example. Letting White Hand transform into Mewtwo was just a death sentence. It's cool to see it have a way to punish people who would just use Mewtwo to win.

This is where you shall rest...
Right when he summons white hand I noticed everyone makes the same mistake. Switch Pokemon. White hand transforms to who ever is out. The order I would go in is Mewtwo for Muk and Gengar, since its basically a one hit kill. Switch to some weak pokemon. Let them duke it out then Mewtwo again. Switch when he summons Pikachu's ghost and use up all my remaining pokemon and use Mewtwo for the kill. Not that hard.

The good ole days of playing the original gen 1 games. I was a freshman in high school when pokemon came out. I been a fan ever since. Having my gameboy and playing pokemon blue. I was the only one out of my group of friends who would have a venusaur. Everyone else had either blastois or charizard.

Even though the video is fake, I could definitely see the Pokémon company toying around with an idea like this initially. I am well aware that this is fake and a joke, and it's extremely well done (seriously, nice job), but to stop people from the plague of stupidity, let me clear one key thing up: MissingNo was NOT planned AND/OR deliberate! The data for him/her(?) was caused by deleted Pokemon ID entry slots that were not properly cleaned up before release. This theory was confirmed by the devs themselves, in a post where they said "there were originally 190, but we were saving the rest of later". In addition, MissingNo's "sprite" is the result of either reading the garbage data as color index values for individual pixels, or not having a proper coordinate path to tell it which parts of a compressed texture map to use (I'm not too sure on this one). So because of this, any "secret" involving the use of any glitch pokemon should be taken immediately as either a fake joke, or a cracked modded version of the game. Honestly guys, this is one of the most transparently picked over video games... ever. After all these years, I'm sure that any "secrets" would have been discovered a long time ago!

It's a hack of Fire Red that allows you to catch all pokemon that are in Leaf Green as well, and the pokemon that need to be trraded to evolve are instead given levels to evolve (e.g. Gengar). I can confirm buried alive is included in this (I fought him :D).
Some problems with this: - The text box goes from having Poke Balls like every other text box to not having Poke Balls - White Hand's cry isn't possible on Game Boy hardware - The ending image is pretty obviously edited in - The developers would never implement a fight against a trainer with level 90-100+ Pokemon at this point in the game - Missingno. can be easily obtained via the Trainer Fly glitch before this point Other than that, it's actually pretty well done.
@cpong Yeah, you could easily get a whole team of level 100s by this point and completely sweep. It'd be the only viable option to even beat the game if this was real, which in the late 90s would mean a required GameShark.

Even though the video is fake, I could definitely see the Pokémon company toying around with an idea like this initially. Perhaps the corpse could have been reanimated by one of the spirits in the tower, heck, perhaps originally the Marowak ghost possssed the body. At this point, we'll never know if it's a serious idea that they toyed with, then scrapped, or if it's just purely false.

I am well aware that this is fake and a joke, and it's extremely well done (seriously, nice job), but to stop people from the plague of stupidity, let me clear one key thing up: MissingNo was NOT planned AND/OR deliberate!
The data for him/her(?) was caused by deleted Pokemon ID entry slots that were not properly cleaned up before release. This theory was confirmed by the devs themselves, in a post where they said "there were originally 190, but we were saving the rest of later". In addition, MissingNo's "sprite" is the result of either reading the garbage data as color index values for individual pixels, or not having a proper coordinate path to tell it which parts of a compressed texture map to use (I'm not too sure on this one).
So because of this, any "secret" involving the use of any glitch pokemon should be taken immediately as either a fake joke, or a cracked modded version of the game.
Honestly guys, this is one of the most transparently picked over video games... ever. After all these years, I'm sure that any "secrets" would have been discovered a long time ago!

It's a hack of Fire Red that allows you to catch all pokemon that are in Leaf Green as well, and the pokemon that need to be trraded to evolve are instead given levels to evolve (e.g. Gengar). I can confirm buried alive is included in this (I fought him :D).

Nostalgia 🥲, I remember watching it in high school with my friends.
Some problems with this:
- The text box goes from having Poke Balls like every other text box to not having Poke Balls
- White Hand's cry isn't possible on Game Boy hardware
- The ending image is pretty obviously edited in
- The developers would never implement a fight against a trainer with level 90-100+ Pokemon at this point in the game
- Missingno. can be easily obtained via the Trainer Fly glitch before this point
Other than that, it's actually pretty well done.
@cpong Yeah, you could easily get a whole team of level 100s by this point and completely sweep. It'd be the only viable option to even beat the game if this was real, which in the late 90s would mean a required GameShark.

That one ghost at the top floor is actually a good ghost telling you not to mess up with buried alive because they know you'll be screwed by him
I love how in this fight:
1. BuriedAlive use gym battle theme rendering he's the former ghost leader or supposed to be before Agatha (his pokemon pack a great level)
2. He's use muk (reference for his ooze / blood) and gengar (regerence for his ghost / grudge)
3. His hand were severed that become white hand
4. This rom hack literally fright me when i was child
