This track gave me more hopes to listen this comp, the idea is plain and simple, like most of the stuff in this comp, but god damn the style of OG Nixin is incomparable, I still haven't heard a bad track from OG Nixin and at this point I'm believing that this man with some others are keeping alive the genre (riddim).
Drop 1 0:59 (0:52) Drop 2 2:51 (2:45) Pretty neato one by OG Nixin. With this one, I do have kinda the same situation as 4 AM where it starts alright and then it gets further the more it progresses. By the way it's pretty good, despite the track ending by suddenly cutting after the 2nd drop.
Nothing bad. Track 13) OG Nixin - Execute. The intro has good potential, radio style and then it breaks a trap or rock base, along with the electric guitar, it sounds moving, the build-up is completely fine, and before the 1st drop I already see that it is not going to impact a lot, but if you are going to have a good idea of breaking the drop well (And if it happened) I see that the selected basses were dry, the base was all good, but apart from the good low saturation it has, it was not so striking when listening to it , well-selected fx effects, but... very repetitive (that can easily get boring). The trap-rock base returns, and the build-up again, for the 2nd drop, if there were going to be changes, there were, but... (It wasn't very striking either) although I did change the saturation cuts in the fx , but only the rhythm of the 1st drop was 1/2, in the 2nd drop it seemed 1/4 or 1/8, although its flow is pleasing, because it was still somewhat repetitive, but not bad (And well, not I don't know if it's me, or I don't know if the other person heard it, but he's also making bad changes.) Remember the score: - 0/1.9 (Horrible) - 2/3.9 (Bad) - 4/5.9 (Fair) - 6/7.9 (Good) - 8/9.9 (Excellent) - +10 (Legendary) Well, there were some things that were not taken into account, but the flow was acceptable, but the drops themselves were somewhat dry. Track 13: Execute - OG Nixin The vocal samples and the guitar breaks are the only thing i liked on this tune, because it's really plain and boring, i like OG Nixin style but this feels something really standard and does not bring nothing special to the comp, the third drop saves a little bit, but i'm sorry, probably my least favorite on the comp 2.5/10
Track 13: OG NIXIN - Execute I absolutely loved what OG Nixin put on the last compilation, it was even my favorite! Sad to see that I didn’t end up liking this one though. I feel like that this track was missing the bounce that I got from his Vol. 5 track, because this one feels so straightforward and boring. Definitely disappointed. (0.5/10)
Ok. So this is the first song on the comp that just didnt truly sit right with me. I didnt like the vocals, the drop was a little stale, and the intro felt like another INVADRZ song. Still not bad, but probably a 4.5/10 idk
