I'd forgotten I knew who she was until I saw Drag Race, but let's not forget that she was the first LGBTI+ competitor in a reality TV show in the world in 2003! She's quite popular in the UK, I presume, so looks like another Jason Donovan case where she was just more popular outside of her own country.

So you know, when Bianca said 'if you're against gay marriage don't marry a gay person", is what Whoopi said years ago, rather famously in the US when they had the SSM debate.
Also the postal vote is kind of important. Random surveys have shown in the past that the Aussie public are in favour of SSM. What this postal vote does is make it more official. Assuming it's a majority YES vote, it would be crazy for the government to ignore it if they want re-election. Having said that, it's not a compulsory vote. That's why that arguments on both side have been so fierce.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a NO majority. Both sides have used some stupid tactics to vote for them. Time will tell I guess.
