Comparative Public Administration: Fred Riggs

Fred Riggs strongly believed in empirical analysis and interdisciplinary approach and therefore relied on and even borrowed concepts from various disciplines including Sociology, Psychology, Physics, Biology and Economics and used them in developing his various models. He also borrowed and used several new words from other subjects and even coined a few to convey / express his ideas. It is rightly observed that the terms used by Riggs to explain his models are peculiarly Riggsian.
