Makes sense as Rayne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane is up there with them as the most religious as despite her mutant abilities making her seemingly a "werewolf" she is a devout Christian of the Episcopalian denomination and is usually seen reading her bible and after becoming a teacher at the Xavier Institue she would alongside Nightcrawler would hold Sunday School lessons and is usually seen as reluctantly agreeing to work alongside heroes and heroines who have powers and abilities steeped in mysticism and the supernatural which is due to her faith and this reluctance to work with heroes, and heroines who have powers steeped in mysticism, and the supernatural as well as being reluctant to go with a mysticism/supernatural-themed solution has caused her to butt heads with fellow X-Men/New Mutants member Illyana Rasputin aka Magik numerous times.

Based on her backstory, Black Widow was likely raised an atheist in Soviet Russia. This is echoed in the comics, but interestingly, she is seen going to confession to a priest in Marvel Knights #1. In any case, Black widow isn’t perfect by any means, but it appears that there is something innate to her character that draws her close to Catholic symbolism. This also proves Voyage writer Matthew Heffron’s point on Why comic book artists rely on Catholic symbols to portray religion. She may not be a saint, but she does appear to be a sinner who seeks forgiveness for her past life, willing to sacrifice her own life to atone for them and save others.

The implication of that is probably that he’s most likely extremely into Kabbalah, Jewish Mysticism. Kabbalah is literally a denomination of Judaism that blends the occult with the Jewish faith so it would be extremely likely that if Doctor Strange is a practicing Jew he would inevitably be attracted towards the only branch of Judaism that specifically endorses a belief in the occult and deliberately seeks to practice the rabbinical rites and rituals of esoteric mysticism that Kabbalah is most known for. The Hebrew word “Kabbalah” can even translate as “to invoke” in this context, an invocation is usually a term having to do with invoking a magic spell. So needless to say, sounds exactly right up Doctor Strange’s alley of the kind of stuff he’s into.
