This Chapter was the definition of insanity. Seriously a lot of people was discussing about how team Natsu didn't beat a dragon god at their best and didn't even fight Selene so having multiple dragon gods fighting all at once is going to be good.
This honestly explains why the dragons were so easy to defeat. They were all sealed by Dogramag prior but also they sealed their own power, unaware of the fact. This means that Mercuphobia fought Natsu at like 25% of his true power. I am SO excited for the 2nd rounds
How does Earthland Faris just casually know all these things? That Igneel ripped off Acno's arm, that there are many worlds out there, and even what other versions of herself are like, that Ignia is Igneel's son, etc... Did she come across Acno's arm by chance? Was she waiting for something like this to happen? Did she share Acno's motivation before getting the arm or did the arm "possess" her?
Well of course he would be. He was practically powerless when Acnologia was killing every dragon, and had to flee. I don’t think that kinda trauma would go away no matter how strong or arrogant he is. He was probably young at the time as well.

I think it's safe to say the gold owl arc was rushed because Mashima was more hyped for the Ignia arc then we were. Think about it why bother giving Viernes a proper fight if he's just going come back again at the start of the next arc? I have been patiently waiting for the arm reveal since Kiria first said Dragon Eaters at the start of the 100 years quest. I was not expecting the ominous narration at the end of the Labyrinth arc saying it spread it's roots across the entire continent to take this turn. Man vs man. Man vs Dragon. Dragon vs Dragon let the true Dragon King Festival begin.

Acnologia is really op he survive inside the SBT which is a true void a metaphysical concept which Anna describe as both nothingness and conceptual, this statement alone scale SBT to Outerversal and Acnologia survive inside it unscathed and devour it like one of his meal, he's insane
I bet Acnologia will return in full body. My reasons is them introducing Faris and the arm. The arm will be used in black magic rituatual to resserct Acnologia. Also, Acnologia has that vagabond's cloak, characters uses it are Bass from Mega Man and Vergil in DMC 4Special Edition. Both characters have died, and returned. Whenever a character has the vagabond cloak, they are op, will die and will return.
I mean you could make the argument. We don't know how far long Irene was when she was pregnant with Erza before she used a spell on Erza to halt the pregnancy. Same with how far Irene was from turning into a dragon. So it's possible

Ignia is a tactical geniu manipulating natsu and his freinds of sealing the partial dragons gods and destryoing dogramag and luring natsu and faris ancnologia will embodiement as the final piece to start the dragon festival using the magic ton unleash the dragons at full power all this time natsu and his friends were not fighting the dragon gods at full power now they will experience that power and it will terrified them to a point of fear in terms of power scale and mashima confirmed this is a darkest arc in 100 years quest.
That would be interesting to see Natsu and Wendy get their dragon forms. Please tell me this wasn't foreshadowed during the fight with Faust in Edolas I swear to God if they used those dragons as Natsu and Wendy's dragon form but with cooler designs I'm gonna be one happy guy.
This chapter actually kinda redeems the garbage of them cake walking the dragons. Now we will see if Mashima actually make these dragons the real deal or have another Universe Zero Oracion Sies situation.

Meaning either dragon slayer magic from acnalogia was just built different back in the past, or dragons were weaker. This chapter has scaled pre timelaspe Acnologia up imo. Faris with only a piece of his power was able to match an attack from ignia, yes ignia wasn’t at full power & probably wasn’t a serious attack but you can apply those same reasons to Faris, like you can tell it was more of testing the waters for both of them. I can’t outright say if Full power ignia is stronger than Acnologia rn, we’ll have to see in the coming chapters bc it depends on how Faris does against ignia, if she gets one shotted (that would be anticlimactic) that will give me the impression Ignia is stronger than Acnologia. but if she manages to go toe to toe with ignia or be at least be relative to him I will say pre timelaspe Acnologia is stronger bc if a piece of his arm was able to match full power ignia that just shows the overwhelming power Acnologia had before eating the timelaspe Speaking of Acnologia there’s 1 thing I’m hoping Hiro explains to us soon, Acnologia being able to reap the souls of dragons, that ability has never been fully explained or built on.Grandeeney said her, Igneel and the other dragon slayer dragons encountered acnologia 400 years ago and he reaped their souls leaving them weakened and in a half dead state, which is the other reason they fled into their respective dragon slayers and fled to the future.
