Raptors fans are the most delusional fan base in the NBA. Do you know how hard it is to get free agents to come to Canada ? It’s cold af, the taxes are high, toxic fans, and your kids might have to get home schooled. It took the raptors YEARS to build a culture. And it finally paid off(of course with a a lot of luck). Now you guys seem to think that every year you should contend even when you don’t have a #1 option lol.

Blame everyone on the Raptors management for not bringing in new players during the trade. Another catastrophic figure is Nick Nurse. I cannot fathom the fact that many are saying that he is a good coach. He ain’t! Just watch how hopeless the Raptors were in protecting the paint. No explosive centers to protect the rim. That new guy was a disappointment as well. Raptors need to reorganize starting with firing Nurse, & please trade for new players.

A prudent team exec would have, after a first-round exit, made bigger changes than President Ujiri ended up making last off-season. Running the same team back as much as possible wasn’t the right direction.

Masai should regret going for it. It was clear as day this team isn't good enough to compete and Masai decided to stand pat at the deadline. Now, after the play in game, it should be painfully obvious to management that changes need to be made. Cut FVV and Pascal to start. That's a projected $300 and odd million off your books. You can use that money to fill the voids and acquire quality talent to actually get this team somewhere. FVV & Pascal clearly ain't it.

I wouldn't bring the Jays in this mix at all . Not appropriate Liza. Jays blew an 8 run lead last year in there wild card game and it was a major blow to this city given the issues with the Leafs. You can't slam the Raptors when we have 2 other sports teams that historically can't handle pressured games. I think the Leafs will make some noise this time around but its not a good move to talk other teams up when they don't deserve it right after the Raptors lose one. Raptors at least won a recent title. Have the Jays or the Leafs? Nope
Jays won back-back titles in 1992 and 1993 which is more recent than the Leafs who last won a title in 1967.
Also what about the Argos in the CFL who are arriving into the 2023 CFL season as defending Grey Cup Champions?
TFC won the MLS Cup back in 2017.

Masai losing it
I remember one Easter as a child, I received money and went to the store with my mother to buy myself more Easter chocolates. I was roughly 7 years old, and what I saw when I arrived was this large chocolate Easter Bunny. In a big fancy box, it stood above all the rest. The good news was, I had enough money to buy it - and I couldn't believe my luck. I thought, why would anyone buy the smaller chocolate bunnies for the same price, when they could have this giant bunny? Carrying it out the store, the big box laid in my arms and took up the seat beside me on the drive home, I couldn't wait to start eating this lucky gift I ran into. However, after ripping open the box, and pulling out the big chocolate bunny, I found out....it was hallow! ..Just a thin layer of chocolate made of a shell that looked so big, so terrific, so satisfying, turned out to be just as much chocolates as the smaller bunnies.
This years Raptors team, was hollow Easter bunny chocolate, no bigger than the smallest bunny.
..in a few days, T.O sports will come down to the Jays.

He is super accurate, last night was the worst way Toronto could have lost that game, the worst. It was embarrassing, ESPN has been laughing at the Raptors performance all morning and late last night.

@@Ronindan1 unfortunately we’re not getting KD, Steph, Embiid, Jokic, Giannis, Lebron, Kawhi, or any other hall of famer to come to Toronto as a free agent. MLSE knows it, and will keep this core together and competitive to have trade assets if there ever comes the opportunity for them to capitalize on a deal. Get used to watching this mediocre non contender for a while
