Someone explain to me why the Valentino bags are so expensive.

Valentino by Mario are the "cheaper " bags compared to the higher end Valentino Garavani handbags which are usually over 1k.
I think VBM takes advantage of the consumer confusion since the names are similar. So, they sale bags at a higher price point than what it's worth.
