I remember asking for this set for Christmas along with the skull castle hoping th I’d get one or the other but was surprised to get both. I had so much fun with both setting up battles between the two castles
I think the 10305 Lion Knight's Castle looks good. I have not built mine yet. I am not saying you should or should not buy it. But I think fantasy era is as far - still Castle theme - you can get from 10305. If you mean Castle all together then it is all good. If you are more into fantasy era you might want to wait for Dungeons & Dragons or Lord of the Ring themes. If we will get them for 2023. Who knows?
I was not a fan of this castle at first, But it’s started to grow on me. If only the newer castles had this much minifigure’s and weren’t worth 400. I do not understand where one would display the drawbridge defense next to this one, maybe it is supposed to be displayed by itself?
Hi tsunxx! My first thoughts about 7094 also. How to integrate 7079 Drawbridge Defense with King's Castle Siege is not obvious. But if you have a landscape with a river/ moat it works. There is a similar combo with 7947 Prison Tower Rescue and 7187 Escape from Dragon's Prison.
Ah, I see. I do not own any of these sets and I doubt I ever will due to me still being a Minor, and how prices are most likely gonna increase. But I have sort of imagined how that would work out and It seems lovely. I think it would be best if The main castle’s drawbridge was modified, As having two drawbridges seems sort of pointless.
I have also seen your combination of the two prison sets from Kingdoms, those two look amazing together. Im sure this combo with some scenery would look great as well
I had this one as a kid. Dunno what ever happened with most of it. The first time I built it, my mom came outta nowhere and stomped the shit out of it, broke a lot of pieces. I had no idea why and still dont. Misd that set.
Lego as good as this set is no longer being made. I wish I bought one of these castles when I was a kid. I can have lego now, but is either ninjas or shitty castle with just two soldiers, one skeleton and a stranded sailor.
I agree with your point on minifigures. I think minifigures are a big part of playability and should be prioritized. You can buy old sets you know(?). It is around $300 which I think is acceptable. I think the last effort with 31120 Medieval Castle (as I think you are referring to) is alright in design. But lacks minifigures. If you were lucky to get 910001 Castle in the Forest You get something that really looks like the old sets (once again a bit low on minifigures).
@Big Hairy Meow True, about three times the original price. But I was thinking that many sets today cost around $300. And I forget that LEGO is about 30% cheaper in the US. So it sounded better to me.
@@OldLegoGuy I guess it depends on how much you want these old sets in particular. I am still hoping lego makes DnD or Warcraft sets, saving money for those times.
@screeech1 Thanks! Yes the dragon is included and the skeleton "rider". In total 5 knights and a king, 1 black skeleton, 2 white skeletons and a knight skeleton (dragon rider).
The 7094 King's Castle came out between 1st of June 2007 and 31st of December 2009. So you have to buy it "second hand" (there exist new sets in sealed box). I would suggest BrickLink, ebay or local second hand site like craigslist.
I had one of these as a kid. My pride and joy thru and thru
It is a cool castle. I was a bit on the defence first. Too different, but now I like it.
Great looking castle. I like the rotating arch bridge. It has a good amount of figures as well.
I was a bit sceptic in the beginning. Mostly because it is asymmetrical. I agree on the minifigs and dragon. Adds to the playability.

They are both great. I think you mean 7093 Skeleton Tower. That set is underrated.
One of my first lego sets! Gonna rebuilt it soon!
Something to look forward too!
I remember i got this set way back when for my birthday. Im thinkin about getting the anniversary castle set to pay a homage to this one.

got this set for Christmas when i was younger and spent all night building it, the day after my cousin stepped on it and it broke
Hope it hurt as stepping on LEGO usually does. But sad. Could you rebuild it again?
@@OldLegoGuy sadly no, I don't have all pieces and I don't think I have a way of finding them
Same, my parents gave me and my brother this and the Dwarves' Mine for Christmas.
Wow i really wish that i got that castle set back in the day 😢 but hopefully i will be able to grow my collection of medieval lego knights
Yeah unfortunately you have to pay a bit more now than when it was released. It is a cool set though.
best review ever
Thank you!

Thanks for watching! They do go well together.

Wow thats a story. I feel with you. It is a great set.
Hi, what is that technic thing for at 4:41 behind the chest? Ty,
It is a bit weird. The top part of the tower just stands on plates. This is the only connection. A 3L pin that goes through the base and the tower.

@@OldLegoGuy That is hardly economically optimal. 300 is a lot of money.

AWESOME Video! Did the Dragon come with it?
