"LifePlanner notebook," I see what you did there, and I love it! I think that would be a great direction for the company to take! And I totally get the gray thing! I used to be a loyal gray Staedtler Triplus Fineliner user and I always want every pen in gray haha
Thanks Julie! I use Papermate Ink Joy gel pens now, but now I really want to try the TUL gel pens and the Zebra Clickart pens. Keen to know if there was much of a shadow on the back of the page.
The Sarasa Clip Vintage 2 set has a grey gel pen! I love it! I think you can get them individually from Jetpens or Tokyo Pen Shop as well. I love all of their vintage shades.
The Sarasa clip also has a regular gray that looks just like pencil without the smudging I love it. Also if you look up Uniball Signo DX they have 2 grays that are nice 🖊
I love Tul gel medium pens. I also use Papermate Flair felt on a daily basis but I have terrible handwriting due to genetically shaky hands so it helps. I prefer medium to fine over ultra fine to help offset the shaky hands deal. I think I'll treat myself to more pens for my upcoming birthday! I've got some new ones to try after watching this video. I'll try the Click Art and I want those Zebra highlighters that are more iridescent looking vs glittery.
I did find a blue black sarasa clip .7 on Amazon but it's $4.50 for 1. Curious though since I love the. 5 😁 the Tul fine lines and click art markers look great! May try those too. Thanks for getting a hand cramp to share with us!🤣🤣
I feel exactly the same about the Zebra Sarasa Clip in 0.5 _ gorgeous colors, but terribly scratchy and I would LOVE them in 0.7 too (maybe even 1.0), Julie.😊
My pen loving heart loves this video. Please do more of these videos 😁 You can never have too many Tul pens and the gel colours are such great quality. I also agree that you should have your own font, your handwriting is awesome!
Ok, I just started the video and I think it should come with a warning. Warning! Watching this video may cause you to add all the pens to your Amazon cart and hit "Place Your Order!" 🤣
I would have been in pen/marker HEAVEN if I had gotten all those! I personally like the looks of the Sarasa pens based on the thickness (or the thin-ness) because I do like the more thin tips. My faves are the Staedtler Pigment Liners in the 01, 03 and 05. but that's what I learned with in college for Graphic Design.
OMG I think you really need to create your own font! I love your writing, its so neat and easy to read. I really like rollerball pens and am looking forward to trying out that Sharpie but haven't been able to find them in a small pack so Amazon is out of the question. Thank you so much for the pen tests. I really liked all the pens you tested. My favorites would probably by the Tul fine liners, the Sarasa clic and the zebra click markers. I'm glad you included those glitter highlighters. I had never seen those before and was curious about them. I will pass on those.
You may need to shake the glitter pens before using them. With some pens like that, the glitter settles in one spot and shaking it redistributes it. It couldn't hurt .
I’ve been a.5 pen user for years, probably because it was easier to chart with when charting on paper in nursing homes. I accidentally ordered the .7 Tul pens instead of the .5 and have fallen in love. They write so well! The Sarasa pens have definitely caught my eye though...
Awww I'm sad that you didn't like the glitter highlighters! Maybe you just got a bad batch! The ones I found at Target are super glittery. I use them all the time and the glitter is pretty intense in mine, I love it. It makes my sparkle-obsessed heart so happy. I kind of want to try the Sarasa clip pens now, but I don't really use colored pens. I think I just like to hoard them, lol.
@@JuliesPlans Mine needed a good shake at the beginning to get the glitter distributed in the ink, and a couple of pushes down in the pen to get the ink moving. After I did that once, it has been fine and glitter galore! Give them another go!
TUL needle tip are my absolute favorite. I wish they came in more colors. I’ve had to settle for the medium tip to get some color. Also recently got some pastel fine liners that have a bigger tip than the fine liners you showed.
Pilot Juice has grey/gray pens! I think I bought mine individually either at Jetpens or Tokyo Pen Shop. Sarasa also come in 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm tip sizes. (Tokyo Pen Shop used to mail out Hi-Chew candy and stickers with every order, not sure if they still do after Covid-19?)
I wonder if the glitter highlighters, since they push in, maybe it's like a paint or white marker that you have to push it in and the ink rushes down. [I am not meaning to make this sound naughty... ]
Thank you for sharing and giving us such valuable info. about pens/ink. I love pens but I also do not want to waste money on ones that are not exactly for me.
Those sharpie pens are my JAM right now they are dream love love ❤️ my handwriting has a lot of glyphs and it’s long handed so they work so good the clickart pens are great to
The graduated Zensations pens appear to be competitors to the Micron graduated pens. They are really great for architects and artists who use line weight to make illustrations clear. Probably not useful for planning, since the tiny line pens (00 an 01) are infamous for getting clogged. Hmm... That might be why the ink on your pens was a little more watery! Thanks for the video! I loved the "one eternity later" title card. ❤️
I have a lot of those pens 🙊 I too love grey ink pens...check out Sakura gelly roll. They do a set of grey pens or you can get individual ones at Michaels. Also - the sarasa clip comes in a .7 size. I have the .5 in black and I love but I’m curious about the .7 too. Question for you... I found the life planner paper + ballpoint pens to be a great combination. Do you ever use ballpoint?
I’m in Scotland and getting the Tul pens here is so difficult sadly, the prices are so high too they aren’t an affordable pen! I do use the Sarasa clip and Pilot G2 (my current fav.) Thanks for a great review xxx💕
I have those glitter highlighters. I wonder if you got a pack with not a lot of glitter. We had to stop using them because there was so much glitter that it almost made it hard to read the words. 🤣
Just know I am totally kidding, but the same person who wants gray ink also doesn't like when black ink is not black enough. 😂 Again, I totally understand what you mean, just a funny observation. 😊
Loved the different kinds of pens that you have. I’m gonna check them out and see if I can get some. Hope all is well with you? I’m good here. God bless you and have a good night. Sue(Clearwater, Florida)😘❤️🙏🏻🌼🌸👼🌴👍🏻🤟🏻💕❌⭕️❌⭕️
I have the grey Pilot G2 and I love it to bits. Probably my favorite color of the new set. Have you tried the JetPens samplers? They have a sampler bundle, all in grey 😁 #nottryingtoenablejustlovepens
Julie’s Plans lol. Sorry. Not *very* sorry, but still. Maybe I shouldn’t mention that they have a bunch of color sets, including black, grey, blue black, green black, red black, etc. Or the various pen type bundles? Gel, mix, ballpoint, markers, highlighters .... or the grey brush pen set? Hm, maybe I’ll just keep quiet 😁

The Sarasa vintage are awesome 👏🏻. So are the @arteza vintage pens. I have a video sharing them and comparing them. I love both!
You can also get regular Gray from Sarasa, Pilot Juice, Uniball Signo, and PaperMate InkJoy Gel and Energel!!! I love greys
The Sarasa clip also has a regular gray that looks just like pencil without the smudging I love it. Also if you look up Uniball Signo DX they have 2 grays that are nice 🖊

I love the Tul medium tip. Another favorite are the stabilo. I love how they write on the EC paper and the colors variety is great.
I haven’t used stabilo in years! I should give them a try again!
Stabilo are awesome
Your hand writing rocks I'm so in love more writing video pls
Loved this! Thanks so much. Will try the Tul gel and I’m not a gel pen fan!
Ok, I just started the video and I think it should come with a warning. Warning! Watching this video may cause you to add all the pens to your Amazon cart and hit "Place Your Order!" 🤣

I love pens for sure , currently looking for organization for my pens ... the sarasa I was surprised was not as vibrant

I love your hand writing ✍ more writting vids and pen test
You may need to shake the glitter pens before using them. With some pens like that, the glitter settles in one spot and shaking it redistributes it. It couldn't hurt .
Thank you for all the pen tests. I only use a .38 Frixion in my LP and fountain pens in my Hobonichi.
I think I will try the Tul Med. pack....love the vibrant colors....especially the yellow!

OMG! Pen overload.... I would like to try Tulu Gel Med. I am currently using Sharpie S-Gel 0.7 and 0.5 in blue, black and red.
Love S-Gel pens
Think I am going to order the Tul Gel Medium pen. Looks like I will use that often.
I’m intrigued enough to try the click art and the tul fine liner. Thanks for the great demo!
Those multi color medium gel TUL pens are my FAVES!!!
Oh my gosh the damn smirking emoji cracked me up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous pen test video! Made me want to try so many pens! Can you link your favorite. The Tul .7. I want to make sure I buy the right one!
They are linked on the description!
Sorry I meant the needle tip that you normally use not the new ones.
I’ll have to check out the click art. I love the tul pens too. Do you have to shake the glitter pens first.? Thank you for sharing
I’m going to try shaking them!
The Tul pens are my absolute favorite. I also love a good gray pen! Papermate Inkjoy has a really nice gray pen.
Great pen video! I have seen and love the .7 of the sarasa pens. I have seen them at Jet pens. I am now curious about the tul pen. 🙈
Oh good to know! Thank you!
The TUL fine liners look awesome!!
I love the CLICK ART PENS 😍😍😍
This was very satisfying to watch. I've picked up some gray gel Zebra pens from JenPens.
I'm interested in the 0.3 sarasa clips after seeing this. I like the TULs, but prefer a very fine line. :) Thanks for showing us!
Love the TUL gel pens too! I have them all! 😊
I wonder if the glitter highlighters, since they push in, maybe it's like a paint or white marker that you have to push it in and the ink rushes down. [I am not meaning to make this sound naughty... ]
It is. The highlighter portion is just a regular highlighter (why they still worked on the page)... the "paint" push-in part releases the glitter.
Have you ever tried the Pentel Energel needletip?
I have and I like those!
Tul fine liner and click art are a must. I love my Tul med. 😁 Thank you for the review!
I love your handwriting. Can you make a font? So I can type in it all the time. Maybe a future thought.
I’m in love with the TUL pens. Both sets! 😍😍
Thank you for sharing and giving us such valuable info. about pens/ink. I love pens but I also do not want to waste money on ones that are not exactly for me.
You’re very welcome!
Omg the 😏 when you were talking about the click art pen tips! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love my colorful set of Tul pens! thanks for sharing all of these :)
Great pen test julie! I love a pen test. I think i might look at the TUL pens depending on whether they're available on uk amazon xx
Ahhh you beat me to the pen test video. I’ve been collecting pens to a video with. Awesome video!!
I would appreciate a picture of the backside. Can you show a picture on Instagram of the back side?
Doubt much bled or shadowed since it’s the life planner paper. That stuff is thick. But it would be nice to see.
Those floating emojis were cracking me up 🤣
Loving those Click Art pens! I think I may need to get some of those! :)
This made my pen-loving heart so happy! Tul Medium are my absolute favorite, but now I want to give the click art pens a try!

That makes sense!
Sarasa dry has a .7 - Steph found some - she’s in Cambodia now. They may be on amazon or jet pens. I like .5 sarasa pens.

That’s a great point! Indefinitely wouldn’t use them for planning. I will probably pass them on to my son for drawing!
@@JuliesPlans Good idea!
1.) @19:51 that's what she said 😏🤣
2.) Which pens would you say are closest to the G2 Pilot pens??
Great video!!! 💜💜
The Tūl pen was definitely the closest!
I'd love to try TUL Fine Line and the Sarasa Clip! Love your handwriting btw
Thank you!
The Tul pens come in a medium point in the needle tip also. I prefer a needle tip over a bullet point. I write better for some reason.
I have a lot of those pens 🙊 I too love grey ink pens...check out Sakura gelly roll. They do a set of grey pens or you can get individual ones at Michaels. Also - the sarasa clip comes in a .7 size. I almost never use ballpoint!
Sarasa vintage or @arteza vintage grey pens are great too.
Great review of pens. I liked the Sarasa pens.
Thank you Wendy!
The Zenzations would work well for Zentangle drawing.
How do the tul pens compare to the ink joy pens?
I think they are pretty similar but the tul is more consistent
Definitely trying the sarasa pens 💯
Have you tried energel needle tip?
Those Zebra ClickArt pens are the bomb! You do not need to keep the plastic tip.
Good to know! Thank you!
I’m with you! I am a pen geek!
I’m in Scotland and getting the Tul pens here is so difficult sadly, the prices are so high too they aren’t an affordable pen! I do use the Sarasa clip and Pilot G2 (my current fav.) Thanks for a great review xxx💕
The click art pens peaked my interest. I have all the TUL pens, they are my favorite.
Try jetpens site for grey gel pens also sarasa ventage pen sets
Pens give me lots of joy too
I have the Tul gel pens in my amazon cart for quite some time...lol
Now I want to place my order & buy!! Lol 😂
try the sharpie roller 0.5. Way less inky.
I got a 4 pack at target for around 5 bucks.
I have those glitter highlighters. I wonder if you got a pack with not a lot of glitter. We had to stop using them because there was so much glitter that it almost made it hard to read the words. 🤣
Oh wow! Maybe I got a defective pack 🤣
Ibayam on Amazon has a great fine tip felt grey pen! i use grey for EVERYTHING so i get your obsession haha!
The moment I’ve been waiting for!!
😘😘😘
If you got the Sharpie rollerballs on amazon and dont like them - return them! :)
I had to go to amazon and get those click art pens, they look amazing!

Ok
both Tul sets look great but I'm not buying anything else. You can't make me. lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😆😆😆😆😆
I just have one question...where are you going to store all these pens?????? Holy Moly!
I lied, I have another question - is there any shadowing or bleed-thru on the back of the page?
I’ll share the back of the page on IG!
