Tops, for sharing your complete tour of Nepal. I enjoyed every moment of it. Translation is a bonus when having friends tag along and of course knowing the basics of Hindu language helps to communicate. Perfect. As always Myer. Thankyou.
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I am a Desi from Canada and always enjoy food vlogs. Your simplicity, humbleness and appreciation to all good things in life enrich your video. I am a fan. I accidentally stumbled upon your video TBH. Good luck!
@@myertravels I am on a binge tonight. I started with your last day in Nepal but I have since retracted and started from the beginning. Hopefully, I am maintaining the right order. Your Hindi is way better than mine btw.
@@myertravels Not sure which time zone you are at right now but it’s night night for me from the West coast. Anyway, enjoying your videos but yes, unfortunately it’s still a school night for me.
Delicious! I ate this dish near India Nepal border near Bhairawa. We ate similar dhal bhat in my native Mauritius. On alternate days it was paratha instead of the rice. On Saturdays we used to have chicken curry. Dal is rich in protein. It was the food of the hard working farmers.
Rice is staple food of India and Nepal. The food served is Very simple and healthy. Nepali cook are everywhere in India found, they are much faithful and caring.
Rice is a stable crop in Nepal. So people eat it. Another reason is rice is rich in carbohydrate dal / lentil is rich in protein so this food can fuel your body for longer time. Like back in the old days everyone worked in agriculture it's high labor. So this food keeps them going.

Thank you! I have to give credit to my parents for instilling the Asian morals whilst living in America. Humility is an important trait many overlook. Thanks for supporting!
Daal Bhat is our staple food, my friend. It's for lunch and dinner both. Yes, people are being more conscious about the Carbs these days, so they might intake once a day and go for rotis the other time. Thanks again for exploring our country and food❤❤❤
It's so funny but I am from Guyana 🇬🇾 South America....an we have our food it is just like that...especially fasting days....so love from beautiful Guyana...our Indian foreparents came from India bringing all there culture..

So impressed to travel and browsing street food you tasted in many places of Nepal is a great opportunity for ones life. The query you have many times in mind and enquire to people in many instances is natural for people who travel in Nepal, To the best of my knowledge and gut feeling I have got in my mind and also the place where I born in this country is that farmers at subsistence level or at commercial level grow predominantly paddy crop throughout the three ecological domains of Nepal. So since the time of immemorial to date, paddy crop has been the staple crop of Nepalese food whether they garnish it with pulse or, sun dried or cured after fermenting the local leafy vegetables or meat or, baby mustard vegetable, any type of curry vegetable or, pickle and so on depending on availability in the household situation, In short, all I can say you is that rice after processing from paddy becomes a vital and pivotal role in Nepalese food dynamics, That's why Nepalese people feel immensely proud to serve so called DAL BHAAT.
Thank you for trying our food brother but sorry brother i am laughing 😅😊because this is your first time to eat food with hand and you eat like nepali children brother and thank you for visiting our country ❤

Bro come visit my country Bhutan.
look at pets outside usa so relax n in the st - not like usa - in side hse or yard
usa is miserable n weird - homeless in the st n pets r lock up in side
evil american govt let loose coyote to have the st petless
demon usa american govt - i saved 40+ cats from around the neighborhood
coyotes eat them alive starting from the stomach n leave the heads
i did that for decades n now i'm so old n tired but if i let them back out they'll end up as coyote live food or in labs or adopted n die in basement of some old senile people
i want to murder suicide but can't fine a pill that'll give me n them painless deaths in sleep
usa vets keep them in carrier all day n just tell u to take them home n let them die - n charge u a million for tests n the full day of being there
they're all so old - i just want to hug them kill them - when they turn stiff i'll take my pill n we all die in our sleep
hate usa govt - health care system for pets n selves r for their profit
how do u all want to die?
know any - sure no pain sleep pill for animals n human?
