I hope your team can take more sample photos with the selfie camera, so that you can have comparison shots to compare with the future iterations of under display selfie cams. Here's hoping that the tech gets refined enough to make it to more mainstream phones. I still think that the gaming phone niche is going to disappear at some point, as the recent 8+ gen 1 and 8 gen 2 phones are easily capable of sustained performance that was previously only achievable with dedicated gaming phones.

I bought a mini freezer to cool my device for my whole gaming set up to my TV, I usually crack the freezer open time to time to make sure it doesn't catch condensation inside the gaming phone. The performance stays 100% smooth with zero overheating and throttling. (NOTE:do not have a phone cover while placing the device in the freezer, it's the fastest way to catch condensation inside + check on the cords at ALL times while it's in the freezer)
I'm not a gamer but I like the design.... hopefully in the future, they'll release a model which is thinner than this, and they'll be able to make the camera to totally be flushed with the body
The design of this mini-slab is perfection. If they stripped all the gaming related stuff and kept it as a standard type of flagship phone people use, I'd be all over this.
All under-display cameras suck really severely, and if Apple did it, everyone would rightly complain. Currently, it is a gimmick to sell to teens who do not know better. The Fold4 has one that also sucks, but at least you can use the rear cameras for selfie stuff. We are 2-3 years before even the Galaxy S line has them.
This is what the next Razer Phone should be if Razer still in the phone market. I like that square-ish design and totally full screen from that (Red Magic 8 Pro) phone. Perhaps the in-display camera might be just average but not a deal breaker for those who aren't into selfie much (including I am). I would like to try out if it's released in Malaysia.

If you're getting this phone then you have to get emulators being able to play most wii, gsmecube, psp, ps2, and aton more is a dream come true and easy!Tons of tutorials on youtube. And safe just make sure the websites good and don't click on ads. Best of luck to ya

such a low single core score and it still throttles this much with a cooling fan? the vivo x90 pro plus does not throttle below 90% and thats without a cooling fan! seems like nubia did not add a proper heatsink and just relies on the fan
This is the design android phones should copy....looks stealthy...USEFUL for comfort and its hardware space inside...flat front screen with minimum edges but still not risking misstouch due to its boxy design..premium...and its screen+u/s front cam. Theyve nailed it.

Great review. I do have a question on the 6-minute part regarding the output via usb to hdmi with a possible reso of 4k or 2k. Does that mean that you need a straight cable of type C to hdmi? Or can you use a 6 in 1 adapter that connects to the phone via usb then has a slot for an hdmi cable to plug in to a large gaming monitor?

I love the design, is like my Sharp SH-06D Nerv edition, except that more real somehow. I love that the selfie camera is hidden, I almost don't use it, and the photos from the main camera look actually better to me than the hyper processed look from the main companies.
best design they nailed the main camera design and rectangular design.not a fan of under display camera tho since these are not waterproof why not use pop up camera. not liking the full hd resolution and low screen nits shouldve been minimum of 1500nits. they should also focusing on adding ir blaster, dex like features, dual bluetooth audio and one hand like features.

I love the design of this smartphone, especially the full screen 🤩. On the other hand, unless you haven't seen it (and yet I watched the video twice for that) there is no mention of the price and the number of updates planned by the manufacturer. And also, why compare it to the Xiaomi 13 Pro, when all the tests and even yours have proven that currently the best 8 Gen 2 is the Vivo X90 Pro+ 🤔 Ps: even at $800, this smartphone has no interest compared to a Vivo X90 Pro+ at $900 - $1000.
I hope I can get this phone this year. My s9 is struggling to stay alive and doing youtube for the short cash due to short comings is hard. I will always hold hope I cam upgrade but until than I'll have to hold out strong
