I’ve found it significantly easier to launch attack types with a winder launcher if you have a ratchet that balances out the blade and it doesn’t really self k.o that much anymore

Absolutely bro!! Many people don't consider what the launchers specialize in. Each launcher is different and has a different purpose and functionality. Aside from choosing the right combo for your blading style, the right launcher that goes with it can secure almost a flawless victory!
This really does explain why i preferred the winder launcher when my husband and friends got me into beyblade x. I prefer defense types and the string launchers most of them had just werent letting me get much power

Wow you went into such a deep details about it. Very entertaining to listen to. I use string launcher because it’s more comfortable for me to use, I don’t do tournament or competitive testing. I only play casual so string is a way to go for me.

The String Launcher can actually generate a bit more power than a Winder Launcher! Obviously this depends on technique and ultimately it always comes down to preference, but the Winder gives ~8 rotations with the ripcord and the String gives ~11. Like you mentioned, the lack of a stopper means you get a spin or two extra, but the bey isn't attached for most of them. This also means pulling your String Launcher to limit which is also not great for its longevity
That is true! It can generate just as much power as a Winder for sure depending on your technique! My personal preference is the string launcher since I have mastered it for the most part lol
Dex build and str build! Now, the proto launcher is currently what I am mostly using because I have to restrain when battling my little brother while he using a string. Even so, I can beat his Dransword with my Rhino, so I guess even without a gear ratio, the proto launcher still scales infinitely with your strength.

And you can also remove the proto ripcord and fit in the standard Winder launcher ripcord as well. The proto is solid for sure, just lacks gear multipliers and being able to effectively hold it in battle
My only wish is that TT and Hasbro sell replacement ripcords; I've ripped around two ripcords in the span of three months, and it doesn't help that the longer ripcord can only be acquired from Samurai Saber, and there's no way I'm buying an entirely new Beyblade just for the ripcord. But anyway, there are times I've used string on defense and stamina too with varying success, but it's good to know that there are advantages and disadvantages for each launcher.
Yeah I mean how hard is it to sell a pack of three ripcords? A lot of the bladers I've met have had their ripcords with broken teeth after a tourney; worst is if it's the SS ripcord.

No problem bro! In Burst it truly does not matter, but the best launcher for any type most would say and agree that the B210 string launcher is the best. That's the one I use most frequently in my Burst videos

Question if you are a physically weak blader who wishes to compete would a winder or string launcher be better to offset my general lack of physical strength
For physically limited bladers, I would use a Winder launcher. My daughter is 6, so she is physically weaker, but I give her the winder launcher, and because of that, she does do a lot better and can still win against me

Nah that's just a style is all. To get more power you can pull it really hard and real fast, but not all the way out to the full extent of the string

Hell yeah! For tournaments, you need a deck if 3 bey, all of which have different parts. So no repeating parts
