Just swapped my M30 for the M20 backpack. I had the older M30 and it was recalled a while back and I finally decided to send it in and got the $325 credit to get the backpack. The M30 is nice but pretty heavy when full to carry longer distances and I found myself using it a lot less due to a lot of the reasons you mentioned and having other similar sized Yeti options. The backpack is a little smaller capacity but way more convenient to carry and a lot more practical. I see myself using it a lot more than I used the M30
Yeah M30 are heavy and truth is you can’t put that much in them. Love the switch for ya man. Way easier to carry like you said. And ya really don’t lose that much room
I got the M30 for drinks for my kids when we go camping, they NEVER close the cooler right lol! I have the Roadie 60 for food and Dad drinks. However, I'm looking now at the 45 because the M30 doesn't hold that many drinks once you add ice.... but it is small enough to fit anywhere.... decisions, decisions!
I’ve had my 45 for over 10 years. And it’s in my opinion the best cooler in the line up. Full family day sandwhichs, entire case of beer plus ice Ya can’t go wrong here. You got a good line up with 60 and 30 already
I agree the Tundra 45 I think is the best size Yeti hard cooler. I have both of them the M30 is the perfect one person carry for a day out at the beach or the countryside as it is easy to carry with the shoulder strap.
That’s exactly why I have both. Exactly why I got both. With the recall (I just made a video on this) I am sending back my M30 for roadie 15. I’m just a hard cooler guy. M30 tho so easy to carry
