- In a low temperature of 3 degrees Celsius, we enjoyed camping in a secret base while warming up with a wood stove.
For winter camping, I tried a portable power supply and an IH cooking heater.
You can also see how I made it easier to use by attaching a handle and extension legs to my Mt.SUMI AURA wood stove.

Congratulations on making it into the magazine! It's well deserved. I just saw a video about modern factory-built Japanese mini camper vans. None of them can match your setup. They looked cramped and sterile. Your van looks functional, spacious, cosy and adventurous. So much better than any ready-made van.
We had a hard time making this van, but we like it very much.
We added windows, painted the body, and built the interior to make it more functional.
It is easier to use because of that. 👍

@@Smallbasecamp I would love to camp in the snow, our camper is equipped with all winter camping necessities. But it is a bit dangerous to pull the camper trailer behind the truck going up to the mountains, although there are fellow campers here that camp all year round, I really admire their driving skills in the snow. Now most of the campgrounds are closed for the season.
