Don't throw your toys away, they are actually pretty cool and it's so cute you kept them all these years. My son actually liked them, so you never know, your children may find them fun and appreciate them too 😁. My dad used to build model airplanes when he was a little boy and collect vintage cars and steam train models and build ships in bottles. Even though I was a 90s kid, I found them fascinating even though they were toys from the 60s 😅 ! Some things are just timeless... & it's cool to look back sometimes and relive some past (good) memories.. However, if you really want to give some of your toys away there may be fans who will value them as collectibles.
I have some old Star Wars G.I. Joe-like toys, and some, like, battle squad or something, the clones and Wookiees have actually firing “blasters,” and I also sort of inherited my dad’s and uncle’s G.I. Joe toys, but now they’re just sitting in the basement, unused in favor of my LEGOs and other toys(Nerf guns, especially). My dad happens to collect Star Wars merchandise, with a primary focus on Boba Fett. Fun fact, [my dad’s] mom, my grandma, went to see the OG Star Wars in theaters shortly before my dad was born!
I also had that super-plasticky Vader and that speeder bike toy but I didn't have the ripcord that went along with it so I had to just push mine around. I personally think that some older toys, specifically from the early 2000s to the early 2010s are the best. Especially action figures from that time because around the the mind 2010s hasbro action figures started to have less and less points of articulation and weren't as fun. That could also be because being the second youngest of eight I played with a lot of my older siblings toys growing up and they grew up in the 90s. That was also a pretty sick looking Boba Fett, especially with the cape. As a Catholic i 100% agree that the Leia figure looks kind of like a Mary statue, minus the blaster of course. I've recently been deep cleaning my room and it was cool to go down memory lane but I was also able to get rid of a bunch of my old stuff. Which is a good thing for me because I usually suck at getting rid of old stuff of mine.
I'm also really bad at getting rid of old stuff. My compromise is that I would make videos with all of my old stuff so that I could still remember it and get rid of it at the same time. It's a lot of fun though to go through old stuff and get hit with that wave of nostalgia!
I'll take that whole box. I've been collecting Star Wars toys for 30 years. Most of that stuff in your video I have unopened, but a few things I couldn't identify. The creature you didn't know the name of is called a Ronto. I'm still collecting Star Wars today.. Cool video....lots of memories in those toys of yours, hold on to a few items and display them, just to have a story to tell in your future. The only toys that survived my childhood was my original Star Wars toys, which I still have, and all my G1 Transformers and all my original Lego Sets. I had so much more..but I guess my parents threw it away or took it to a Thift store.
Personally as a kid I think older toys are cooler aesthetically because a lot of modern toys are very catered to younger audiences between 3-8 and that pretty generally means a different style wich is way to animated
1:53 - I've always found those types of things cool and I'm still trying to figure out how they work. 5:01 - Oh my goodness Jacob really? 😂 5:29 - That reminds me of how birds, especially pigeons, walk. 7:00 - Isn't that what goes on a pizza? 8:11 - Wow look at that beautiful masterpie- it's the cheapest thing ever. Lol 😂 13:22 - Nice 👍😂 19:10 😂 20:02 - That's a fish?
We have 6 lightsabers, 3 red, 2 blue, one green(but I think the green is broken). So theres basically a lightsaber for every kid in the house 😂. Me and my older brother used to see how well we could deflect nerf darts with rhe lightsabers
