As a Minnesotan, I will say that's a solid 6 inches of snow, maybe 6.5, but not close to a foot on the driving surfaces. With that, I will say the AWD system of the Sienna is top-notch and is extremely capable.
I got lucky to receive my Sienna AWD in 6 months after giving my deposit. Currently it's a 1 year waitlist in Canada. The dealership even offered me exactly what i paid a year before for trade in value.
the xse, fully converted for a wheelchair only cost around $120,000 cdn plus tax! ($igh) good to see it handles well in the snow...since I'm probably not far from you, lol. ♡
@@tucobenedicto109 I have not yet driven it in the snow ; I was referring to this video (I have upgraded the tires so it should be fine in the snow). yes Canadian dollars! I got the Cement Grey colour.
I have blizzaks on my 21 sienna limited and can plow through pretty much anything. The AWD system isn't the strongest but it is sufficient and combined with good winter tires it can handle this stuff no problem.
Being in Vancouver, I would presume you’re on all season tires? Have you experienced true winter tires on an AWD Sienna? Curious to know the difference.
:) WOW Thanks MUCH for sharing! Yep we got the blizzarf too just south of you in Seattle area! My oldest daughter wants me to trade in my Caravan for one like yours :) What year is it? ALL the BEST and Cheers!
@@vandad1248you can but dont have to. Most of us are watching on our phone anyway 😂 appreciate this post thinking of getting a Sienna because wife is pregnant!!🤰

Very cool. I'm a 4WD SUV guy and I gotta give you credit - That AWD mini van can seem to handle almost anything.
Yes I was pleasantly surprised.
great job, we wanted the AWD but none were available in SoCal at the time... thanks for the AWD exhibition 😀

Wow that's so expensive, I had no idea.
Was that with traction control off? And was the price in Canadian dollars? Family night need something like that.

Good to know I'm not alone about minivans. Practicality over looks, that's the way.
Definitely. I love it, kids love it, and it's extremely practical. This new design is pretty cool as well.

Agree, I have Michelin X ice, and they are good. Our SUV has very strong AWD system but the Sienna performed reasonably well.
These mini vans are impressive. I didn't know they could handle this kind of snow.
I have a 4WD SUV with Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws.

These are snow tires, I put them on each winter. The hill I live on requires both AWD and snows as many trucks have gotten stuck with all seasons.
My 2013 minivan was pulling audi awds out of ditches lol those guys were embarrassed
Lol that is awesome

This is a 2021 and I love it! Kids love it too
Wish Odyssey came with awd
AWD is the only thing missing for the Odyssey. Usually gets ranked ahead of the sienna for everything else
Cool …but whats with the vertical video?
I was so excited for the snow I forgot to rotate the phone sideways while filming. Will correct it next winter
