Great review. This scent is hypnotic and spiritual to me. I enjoy incense but didn’t see it listed in the note breakdown. Your description about the Guaiac wood helped to explain it. It’s one of the few fragrances that is transformative and glad to own it.

@@mikio6444 I smelled Hanuman in person with someone that is well respected in the fragrance industry. I don’t want to put his name out there because of the way the community is and I don’t want it to affect his business. That being said, Hanuman smells extremely similar to Byredo Bal D’Afrique. Of course Boadicea probably uses a bit better ingredients and the longevity may be a bit better. BUT, no way is it worth $1k more when it is virtually the same scent. Thankfully, this person I speak of is a very honest businessman and he talked me out of purchasing some of the exclusive line I was considering, when he could have easily made a big profit by selling it to me.
Might have to get this one as well....been hearing mix reviews about this one & clive christian e gourmande...
