Thanks for watching! You're amazing!
Had to come here to watch what it was like before Beryl. Was very nice.
It sure was! Sigh, life is really something else. My heart and prayers go out to the people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique as well as the other islands who have been affected by Hurricane Beryl. Everything really can change in a moment.
Grenadian expat in the U.S. Just need to touch base with my people right now. My heart is always with you ❤️💔 Much love to everyone affected, especially Carriacou. "We shall rise again" 🙏🏼
Indeed! We will rise again! Thanks for reaching out and showing your support. The people are really in need of so many things right now. Any help you can offer them will be much appreciated.
The small man saying "magic" was funny 😁 lol
Lol yeah at first I was wondering if he was saying that some sort of magic was being used to transport the bodies 😂😂
@@Nezzle me too 🤣🤣🤣

Very informative. Beautiful untouched island. I will love to visit and even consider a vacation home there. It's always better to live off the grid in many cases. Create my own sanctuary. 🙏 Namaste 🙏🤝 keep up the good work Nezzle.

Beautiful Nezzle, but too isolated almost lonely like. Will not be able to live there 😪. Very nice for an outing though. Liked the drone shots..
It’s not for everyone. I can live there but maybe when I’m older. It’s really peaceful and I like that about it. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.

Hi Nezzle Thank you for sharing you are always giving good information when I come to Grenada will like to meet with you many blessings.
You’re welcome. I’m glad you appreciate the content shared. It will be lovely to meet you when you visit.
beautiful scenery on the islands of Petit Martinique and petit St.Vincent, reminds me of the scenery on the islands of Banda and Neira Island in the Maluku Islands in the country of Indonesia
Nice! Thanks 😊
Made a day's visit to that lovely little Island some years ago and enjoyed walking those roads and meeting with the little school children.Carricou and Petit Martinique at that time reminded me so of my native born island Anguilla when I was growing up, Thanks for that video.,
Sounds great! I’m glad you had a nice time when you visited there.
I will love to visit..
You should! It’s beautiful!
My great grand-father is from Greneda....but I will...soon

Ooh, looking forward to Petite Martinique,, at work, so might not be able to take part in the premiere chat, but definitely will sneak a peak
Hope you'll be able to join for a little while at least. Have a great day at work!
Thank you for sharing. I was born in TnT to parents from carriacou and I haven’t been to carriacou or Grenada or petit Martinique yet. I now live in nyc. I found this to be emotional as I can see our family story of our ancestors being dropped off to live out their lives on these islands.
Awww I’m happy that this video was able to help remind you of your connection to our tri-island state and that you were able to connect with it emotionally.
Building at 14.08 which you said is not in use,was d Republic Bank agency which operated on d island 2 days a week many years ago.
Really? Oooh that’s interesting! Thank you 😊
Very nice i enjoy
Thank you 😊
Thank you for that I needed that

Highly informative and timely.

Hi Nezzle, I enjoy looking at your videos. I want to visit my sister and she said come see someone is doing video about Grenada. we was supposed to visit. Grenada this year. Hopefully if your still video next we wants to join u in exploring the Island. looking forward to seeing another of your videos. Thank you!
Hi Edris, I’m glad you enjoy my videos. I appreciate your support. Sure, let me know when you’re in Grenada. I don’t do island tours generally but my dad does so I can share his information with you if you’re interested.
Thank you for the video. Good job my girl. hopefully people will get curious to visit this unspoiled tiny island. I am a native of the island of Petite Martinique,.
You’re most welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I hope others will visit as well. It’s a really lovely island. I’m glad I finally visited.
Great video, enjoyed the tour. Next time can you show what the food is like. It was a shame the shops didn't appear to be open. I did like all the aerial shots and the place is so beautiful. Will look at your other videos as well.
Next time! I didn’t buy anything to eat over there so it would have been awkward trying to videotape other people’s food lol. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
I love it...more plz😁🇬🇩
Glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully I can return soon to capture more footage over there
Beautiful video. I love the drone shots.
Thank you! 😊
@@Nezzle You are very welcome
Beautiful 👐😍
Thank you! 😊
Great video
Thank you 😊
I'm waiting !!
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it!
Hi 👋 Shehnezi. Thank you for showing us the beautiful small island. Loved the video. I can't believe that the kids have to take a boat to school. But I am sure it's kinda cool. How was the boat ride there? BTW Thank you so much for all the excellent information. You are extremely smart. And I love how proper you speak. You are awesome, Shehnezi.
Awww thank you 😊 and you’re welcome! I think they enjoy being out on the boat so I don’t think it bothers them. The boat ride there wasn’t long so it wasn’t too bad.
Great video i would love to live there
Thanks! Yes, it’s a nice, peaceful island.
Thank you lady. Its beautiful but far to quiet for me people are so lovely but I run back to the mainland 🇬🇩 quick 😅
It’s definitely not for everyone but it’s a really lovely little island.
Your videos are awesome
Thanks so much! 😊
This video is the best keep up the good works 👍👍👍
Thanks! Will do! 😁
@@Nezzle thanks
Wow... Thank you for taking me to Petite Martinique.
I knew that the secondary school students had to take the boat daily to go to Carriacou for school; but I didn't know that vehicle owners also had to do the same to purchase gas. Furthermore I definitely have never heard of a police station being closed before.
😂😂😂 yes the police station being closed took us all by surprise. I learned a lot about the island on this trip too. I didn’t know about the gas situation either. I’m glad you enjoyed taking the virtual journey to Petite Martinique with me.
Hi dear, the police station is been relocated to another building temporary for repairs, so its not closed 😁 just for correction.
@@bigdaddy9825 oh okay, thanks for thé clarification. That wasn’t clear from the notice that was placed on the building. It just said to call a particular number if needed. It would have been better to have a notice referencing the temporary relocation because we all interpreted it as the station being closed, which seemed very odd to us.
Nezzle you so right But thats the case some times, so sad ....
Nice meeting you today! Keep up the amazing work
Was nice meeting you too! Thanks!
Ironically, I was looking for bait to go Fort Judy. Caught a few pounds....
@@randolphgrant9027 Nice!! That’s great
I remember many years ago travelling to Petite Martinique from Grenada with a group and we went on a walk and got lost in the bush.😅
Lol you got lost on such a small island? I hope you weren’t too scared though and that you found your way quickly. Truth be told, I wouldn’t have known where I was going or where I was without our helpful young guide.
Great video the DJI Osmo mobile 6 will be a great addition to your DJI Air2s for your channel.
Thanks much! I don’t know much about the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 but I’ll look into it. I do most of my recording with my GoPro though, not my phone.
I didn't know there was boat service between Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Is this new? When I was there, about 4 years ago, I was told Osprey didn't go to PM, there was only ski boats. No way was I going on those. However, once I got to Carriacou and saw how close Petite Martinique was, I thought it didn't seem so bad, but there was no time to do a late addition to our plans. Thank you for another great vlog, Petite Martinique is beautiful, seems tranquil, a great little place I hope to visit one day soon
Petite Martinique is really beautiful! The Osprey doesn’t go over anymore. We did a private charter of the boat we used. However, it’s not too hard to get to Petite Martinique from Carriacou. It helps if someone from over there can organize it for you though. That’s what happened in this case and we were extremely grateful. I hope you’ll be able to visit next time.
@@NezzleThanks for the info regarding private charter.. I will make a note
Wow beautiful island
Very!
Thank you so much for taking us along prior to this I had never heard of this serene island!
You’re most welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it and learned about a new island.
Yes, a beautiful island, an informative tour, and a lovely guide in an attractive yellow dress. Thank you! 💚
@@pictyus thanks much 😊😊
Looks very quiet it's a during the week vibes for me but grenada weekends
Lol well yeah you can take the boat down to Grenada on Fridays and return on Mondays.
Wonderful show case of the Island other than the three supermarkets Mr Mathew, Emma's supermarket/Hardware And G and G supermarket , the blue building opposite the police station is actually A mini mart called Stop and shop. There is also some lovely guest houses together with Three top restaurants along the Beach, GG'S bar and restaurant, Mrs Annette Bar and restaurant and last but surely not least Gary's Sauces and snack bar
Oh nice I’ll need to check them out next time I’m in PM. Thanks!
really quiet place!
Yes, very!
beautiful. Island

How about a bridge from Carriacou to PM?
One day.
Maybe. Who knows
I loved the video and the drone shot. I plan on visiting within the next year. How long is the ferry ride and is it daily from Carriacou to Petite Martinque?
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! The ride from Carriacou to Petite Martinique is about 20 minutes. There isn’t a daily ferry perse but there are people there most days who will be willing to take you across at a cost. It will help to connect with someone in Carriacou who can help you arrange a boat ride across. That’s what I did.
Thanks for the information.
Hi Nezzle 😊
Heya @mblydenvlogs hope you enjoyed the video
@@Nezzle I did. Thanks for asking. 😊
@@mblydenvlogs that’s great! I’m glad
It's a pity the island is so small with such a small population. If it was significantly bigger like Carriacou, there would be good justification to consider building a bridge to connect the two islands, given their relatively close proximity.
There can still be justification made for a bridge. This could help more persons move to Petite Martinique as there’s a large portion of the island that’s still uninhabited. Also, it could open up a lot of new opportunities for persons.
Petite Martinique is a nice Island 🏝 just Carriacou it's looks very peaceful how do you get to the Island, is it from Windward, Carriacou?
Yes, we got the boat from Windward, Carriacou. It’s a lovely island.
Interested video
Thanks
Traveling on water everyday for school 🏫 😬😬😬 that would've been hard for me
Yes, that would be hard for me too. I prefer being on land. They’re used to it though so I guess it’s normal for them

Sorry?
What is the song and artist you are using in the early part of the video, before the 7:00 min mark?

It's that the same dress you ware on Grand anse beach
@@allangeorge2457 yes it’s the same one from the Grand Anse short I made
How much did it cost you to get from Grenada to P.M?
We paid $20 EC each for the return trip from Carriacou.
Your first time? How long you live in Grenada?
All my life. But believe it or not, there are many Grenadians who have never been to Petite Martinique
They dont have cars there?
They have a few but not many.
Where do they put the trash?
What do you mean? Which trash?
@@Nezzle what do they do with their garbage?
@@tasakajonsr4337 I’m not sure but I’m guessing it’s similar to what we have mainland where it’s collected and taken to a dump site.
Once they were isolated thinly populated beautiful unspoiled islands. Now destroyed by the human scourge of overpopulation all within my lifetime.
You said there's 3 churches, I can't hear what you saying on the 3rd church
What’s the name of the boat tour company?
I’m not sure what was the name of the company we used but if you go to Carriacou, the locals are friendly and will help you find a way to Petite Martinique.
Is it a french island?
No but we were under French leadership at a point so we have many French names still.
@@Nezzle so do they speak French?
@@berkeysjungleparadise no they speak English.
They were "enslaved".
My dear Nezzle i have noted not only in this video but in almost all that when you speak is if you are tired like having short breath and so a lot of your words are not herd please next time speak slower and more clearer try holding your breath when talking don´t rush
Sorry about that. However if I speak more slowly, it won’t be natural because I don’t naturally speak that slowly. I’ll try to be more cognizant of it though.
4:26 Wait! Is that a car in the background? Why? Why would anyone on such a tiny island need a car? The island is just barely larger than the town of St. Georges. Everywhere is within walking distance. 5:26 🤣🤣🤣 So just think about it: a P.M. driver has to travel all the way to Carriacou by boat, 3 miles away, just to get gas to drive his car 1 mile away in PM. 🤣🤣🤣
Well I guess they want the convenience of moving around without sweating a lot. Plus, depending on where they’re going or the attire, walking may not be comfortable. I can’t imagine doing that long walk in heels if I were going to church or a wedding etc. I don’t think many of them have cars and the distance they’re driving isn’t far so I suspect that they spend little on gas.
It's an interesting point. Then, from the point of view of a resident of Petite Martinique, they probably wonder why everywhere else, so many people drive when they could be walking.
