Well prabhu they don't even say that they will carry the disciple back to godhead, this question was asked from hh gopal Krishna Goswami and he said Srila Prabhupada will take you back to godhead.
I don't remember Srila Prabhupada saying that his guru maharaj will take carry his disciples BTG, rather he said that "you follow my instructions and I will take you BTG".
