However if you wanted him to become more villainous or a more ‘middle ground’ type of character when it comes to hero’s or villains a Nogitsune could be a cool concept also. If you wanted him to be a hero him being a kitsune should also be interesting due to them having tons of powers such as foxfire/fire manipulation, creating illusions, seduction/mind control, lightning manipulation to some degree (depends on the type of kitsune) shape shifting and more cool abilities. Also with a more mischievous/trickster nature it could create a lot of interesting interactions between characters.
