@@01iverQueen As he was in the Death Row Convicts Saga, sure. It was implied, though, that he was gaining in strength at the end - I mean, the Baki of 2018 would've also been curbstomped by Pickle. Be interesting if they ever bring back the convicts, though that seems unlikely at this point.

If you think about it, Yanagi is one of those few warriors that have the balls to put Yugiro in his place, Yugiro had no right to intervene in his duel against Motobe.
Yujiro wouldn't even care to visit but Yanagi poisoned his son which he is patiently waiting to grow strong to challenge him, of course he was pissed but didn't show it 😅
Of course it was, Yanagi poisoned Baki to death with an unfair trick, he didn't defeat him fairly in a fight. Yujiro knew it wasn't Baki's fault (hell, he could have destroyed both of Sikorsky and Yanagi if it wasn't that he wanted to spend the day with Kozue) thus it wasn't Baki being weak but Yanagi cheating, possibly even killing his only chance to finally have a real opponent, and that was unforgivable for the ogre. At the end of the day, despite their past, and in a very weird way, Yujiro does care for Baki, and these are the moments that show his feelings the most.
