Mobile picking robot TORU at Zalando - interacting with different handover solutions

The mobile robot TORU automates the picking, transporting and stowing of shoeboxes in e-commerce warehouses. At the logistics centre of Zalando, TORU operates with different handover solutions to drop off the shoeboxes for downstream processes.

In 2021 the fleet was expanded to a total of 28 robots.
