Actually Warren G was more like they're big homie since he was the oldest. He used to run with Snoop Dogg's older brother at first until their love 4 music brought Warren G(who is also Dr. Dre's younger brother), Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Daz (Snoop's little cousin) and his friend Kurupt together with Goldie Loc (a homie from Snoop and Daz Neighborhood) and Tray Dee( a dope rapper from an actual rival hood in Long Beach) to form 213 first, then Dogg Pound Gangsta "Click" and, eventually, the beginning of Godfather Entertainment which would later become Deathrow Records. And the rest, as they say, is history.
