13 minutes until I notice breaking the law on repeat
I know man, I've been outta jail for 15 years but ended up breaking someone's face at a bar he was taking weird pictures of my gf. Went to jail for the weekend and now I'm facing 10-25 years for attempted murder. Shit totally happens sometimes life sucks.
@@kylepatton2423not worth it bro especially for those low lives ❤hope you get outta of it soon and hope someone will be reasonable for you
@@kylepatton2423Can you a Ford a lawyer?
Noticed right away :D
@@kylepatton2423if that happened in Texas, the dude showed the pictures and he was taking pictures of the brewery stickers on the wall. You deserve to be locked up.
Jail is no fun. Trust me, stay out of trouble, guys
Been there too, but shit happens
Dude no way. The effeminate young male booty is heaven on earth. And the new years and christmas parties in there are off the mf chain
@CosmicDK yes totally jail, but prison is a difrent beast never been but jail
You cant stop me
@88ZzzZzKkK666 Have fun. Just word of advice, watch out for any soap 🧼 wouldn't want you to slip
Wyatt talking about gucci mane, funniest shit I've ever seen
Gucci Mane should do a song with Burzum. Oh, wait...
BRRR
@@antona.8659 The Truth 2.0, this time it's Gucci and Varg dissing Euronymous.
The radikal lefd come together in unexpected ways. By his unwillingness to omit hip-hop from the Holy Metallic Church, betrays his mindset of being in agreement with ant-queefa angst, against, ironically enough, great white north, Norwegian Metal! I still hit the L&S cause I'm an honorable white man! LOL! We'll see.
Imo when art is created under harsh situations, it becomes way more intense and immersive.
You're not wrong. Crazy how turmoil, addiction, unresolved trauma, and a thirst to prove one's self (or escape) tend to lead to lasting art.
who else immediately thought of burzum
literally everyone else here
Me
me
I thought of Charles Manson
I thought he talk about the Dissection demo that Nodveidt did in prison.
DBD is my favorite! I just got out Federal Prison last year. Medium Security FCI . But hearing this band called Discharged by Death blew me away! I myself played guitar in a Prison Brutal Death Band, more classic BDM, like Fleshgrind, Lividity & Deaden like stuff. Thanks for this vid man, enjoyed this!
There's also (i forget) his name an artist that has done a lot of artwork for mostly brutal death metal bands from inside prison on a murder charge.
yeah ik who youre talking about, He made the artwork for the album "Ugra Karma" for Impaled Nazerine
I think the blues musician Leadbelly recorded in prison. I know he wrote a song for the governor of Mississippi and he liked it so much that he pardoned him.
Hey Wyatt you might find interesting the rap group FREE CONVICT from Venezuela, most of their work has been recorded from prison
Maybe"Playing Chains" a label name strictly dedicated to recording from prison. I'm sure it would be interesting enough even from the marketing standpoint besides the more satisfying reason, finding some really creative ideas 🤔
Norwegian prisons look like going to summer camp compared to American prisons.
I like listening to Dauði Baldrs (1997)
& Hliðskjálf (1999) back to back
From time to time every now and again.
It was a interesting era for BURZUM
To say the least.
Thank You For Using GTL by Drakeo The Ruler was a mixtape recorded in jail over the phone and produced outside. After he got out he got stabbed to death at a music festival in LA.
As a part time rap fan, i thought only rap had prison produced albums
Torch seems like a stand up guy. A bit extreme, but stand up.
I recorded a mixtape over the jail phone with a guy In state prison. His wife was dedicated, paid for studio time, we would call him up on the jail phone and record into protools, shit was off time and I would have to move it in time lmao. Wild, #freestunna. And that's not even the weirdest session I've ever had.
Hr recorded a song in jail, his vocals, maybe reignition.
"In Ketten" aka Absurd is missing
burzum, 2shanez, and charles manson. thats all i know tbh
in norway there’s a prison that lets you make music, wood work, art, internet connection, and basically just like you leave
I was expecting you to mention SPM's "The Son of Norma".
Also, you guys can check out Волчий источник (Wolf Source) album, made in russian prison as well, great raw BM tho
You didn’t give my adhd having brain enough time to pick an album out of the 76 albums I initially thought of
Wyatt you should talk about al namrood
I did once briefly
Never thought I'd hear Wyatt talk about Gucci Mane
drakeo the ruler is a big one for me personally, i dont remember which one but he has one recorded over prison phones
jokes on you in the intro i tought of burzum daudi baldrs.
I spent a year in a greek prison for attempted robbery.....i cannot understand how any of this albums where possible....the equipment....the recording sessions.....the instruments i guess is the easy part but still.....apart from Varg cause Norways prisons are camps with bars all the others ...big respect...
Almost every good Burzum album after the self titled was in prison
Prison and Jail aren’t the same thing.
Oh heck yeah they must of had all the extra niceties and help to make sure they kept recording, because they were full blown meth addicts with money to play when they recorded the album that came to my mind.
mac dre?
Mac Dre back in the hood
How tf do people get access to instruments and recording gear in prison?
Mac Dre got a prison album
I thought of Burzum first too.
Xraided got released a couple years ago. Homie did 30 years
Varg was on a 21 year sentence not a 25.
Cool video, dude!
Surprised no DAC here. Penitentiary Blues is begging to be added to this list.
Sorry just checked my self, this was not actually recorded while Dave was in prison. My bad. Still a great work though.
white under the eyes, I trust whatever he ahs to say on music especially metal
No Mac Dre?
derp this music is so dope because it was made by prisoners i am smooth brained
2Shanez
The escorts 🙌
Vybz Kartel, Mazza L20
Haha I was hoping you'd include x raided.
albert?
What kind of prison are these guys going too?
How many of those arrests are strictly drug related? It’s a shame, it’s not a war on drugs it’s a war on personal freedom, those same freedoms I swore in to give my life in defense of…
What's the band on your t-shirt?
Forteresse
you should listen to back from da dead by 2shanez
Immediately thought of Burzum
ME TOOO LMFAO
Dude that album is horrid
Burzum/Varg was the first artist that came to mind for sure.
@@Onlythingtheyfear Nah. Burzum is good.
HR from bad brains phoned in the lyrics to Sacred Love from Prison
Yep! That whole album is solid, but that track is the one that drew me in.
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the vid title 👍
Michael Jay Sudweeks
Yeah HR is also a violent homophobe. Fuck the Bad Brains. They were known gay bashers back in the day.
Thanks! Forgot about that one. I Against I was in another time and universe!
Gg allin did his vocal tracks from the legalize murder 7 inch with Buldge over the phone from prison
I was going to say that!!
I was looking for someone to mention GG. Love that dude. 💩
Check out Bulge theme song from the 10" haha never gets old
C-Murder’s a rapper from New Orleans (Formerly Signed to No Limit Records), and he released a plethora of albums in prison.. His 1st ever release in prison was “The Truest S*** I ever said” dated back in 2005
Speaking of New Orleans and rap, there's this funny song I found on Bandcamp, I forgot the artist but the track is called "fuck a dead bitch". Funniest shit I've ever heard
Checkout x-raided. All his shit was done through a prison phone and and it fuckin slaps
Tomorrow is a certified banger.
@@putridabomination How is fucking a dead bitch funny. That’s not funny. And that’s juvenile and immature as shit. Grow the fuck up.
@@putridabomination At least be shocking and disturbing and have a point message or allegory and substance. Fucking outcast misfit. Difference between me and you is that I question shit and question of status quo always questioning everything like what you do except I’m not a misfit or outcast lol. You’re a loser. Play in the freeway
You forgot the Dissection demos for Reinkaos, which was later re-recorded
If you're talking about the black that wasn't in a real prison
@@650AFTERHOURSOC What are you yapping about?
@@650AFTERHOURSOCThe Black is a different band with Jon on vocals, what you said doesn't make any sense.
Didn't know that. Cool.
I remember watching an interview ages ago where Jon mentioned that he wrote all of Reinkaos in prison while he only had access to an acoustic guitar. I’d love to hear the demos with just the acoustic guitar riffs if that is the case.
To me the thing is simple: I like dungeon synth, I like those Burzum prison albums.
(also because I always associate Dauði Baldrs to skiing with my family in the mountains during the winter and then studying while listening to the album and watching the forests covered in white outside the window)
That sounds like a great memory 👍🤘
I once spent 132 hours in solitary confinement.
I lost the ability to differentiate between my waking and sleeping reality, as my dreams began to merge with my surroundings and my surroundings seeped into my dreams.
When I closed my eyes I could see things (and sometimes people--luckily they never spoke to me) that I knew weren't really there. Had I spent much longer in their "soft room" (that's what they called it), I don't think I would have maintained my ability to accurately assess what was real and what wasn't.
Jesus Christ, how do prisons actually get away with that? May I ask what you did?
@@gutbucket6184 Asking what someone did to end up in prison is considered "uncool" in many circles, my friend.
@@gutbucket6184 It was my first offense. I have no prior criminal record and was charged with a misdemeanor (battery) because I had an autistic meltdown.
I called my mother who lives nearby so that she could contact emergency medical services so that I could have them transport me to a nearby psychiatric hospital. I was in a very dark place, but I've never actually physically hurt anyone (other than myself). I wanted to seek proper mental health treatment and when I did, the first people to show up at my house were armed with guns.
To make a very long story short, I pissed off the wrong cop at the wrong time and he construed my admittedly aggressive attitude and tone as "battery," sending me to the local county jail.
I was on a psychiatric hold and labeled as a "danger to myself." So dangerous that apparently I wasn't permitted access to a toilet. The 5x10 room was a literal shithole in the sense that when it came down to relieving myself, I had to squat in the middle of the room and shit in the allotted hole.
I am currently in contact with a group of local lawyers who work specifically on human rights violations.
@@jarltrippin In my case I am sharing it far and wide and making efforts to ensure that what happened to me doesn't happen to others with my condition.
The craziest part about all of this is that all things considered, I "got off easy." There are so many others out there who are far more vulnerable both in terms of likelihood of being subjected to this treatment and in terms of not having the necessary coping skills to endure such an environment.
But yes, generally speaking, you are correct; especially when you're actually on the inside.
@@gutbucket6184 Hmm... I typed out a detailed response to your comment and for whatever reason it doesn't want to show....
Perhaps it will appear later, but on the off chance it wasn't "permissible," I pissed off the wrong cop at the wrong time during an autistic meltdown. With no prior criminal history, he was still able to construe my aggressive attitude (i never physically harmed anyone) into a misdemeanor charge. They put me on a psych-hold, stripped me of all my clothing, and had me shit in a hole in the middle of the room because apparently I was such a "danger to myself" that a toilet wasn't afforded to me.
Also to mention that Varg made the whole album in less than a day since they took his keyboard after a day or two
he did the pre prison albums in a short time like that too
Who cares? Dudes a white supremacist.
@@DrSkam-by6pd you care dipshit. I mentioned Burzum and you went on a mouth breather spree of rage commenting cause people listen to Burzum music . Chill out and add some copium to your next meal.
@@wyattxhimWOAH! PEACE AND LOVE!
Lmao jk. Big fan of your channel for years!
Fuck yeah Nazgul in the background! Those guys are from 4hrs from where I'm from :D When I was 17 that stuff was my shit.
Larry “Torch” lyannas has also done a few album covers for bands like lividity and deteriorot, and has another band that released an album a couple of years ago, cellblock autopsy
Retalliation- Death From the Inside, is not an album but a demo which was recorded in NCCI Gardener State Prison.
At the end of the demo you listen to the members talk about the process of making the demo behind the Walls.
The demo on RUclips
Wow thanks a ton for commenting this .
I own that tape it's pretty crappy heavy metal thrash but hey it was recorded in a maximum security prison. You do what you can with recording equipment
I went to jail on a weapons charge when I was younger. Felony dropped to a misdemeanor. My last day there I was in the holding cell and I remembered yawning was contagious. So I began. First guy with long hair I made eye contact with and yawned. It fuckin works lol. Half the time people yawned. It was hilarious.
Discharge By Death is one of my favorite tales to tell to my metalhead friends! Glad you covered this masterpiece.
Missing in this story is the debut album of the band the lone rangers. It went triple platinum. They even made a movie about it called Airheads.
My cousin turned me on to X-Raided back in the summer of 97. He's out now and doing live gigs.
X Raided is a pure legend
@@nkvd1606 yeah that second album is straight fire
Only just started listening through tech n9ne
SPM got like 20 albums from prison
Listening to some neat little folk rock album to realize it was made by Manson is the same vibe as looking at some neat little castle paintings in a Austrian museum then realizing who made them
HH
in norway there’s a prison that lets you make music, wood work, art, internet connection, and basically just like you leave
Alot of prisons do that, not just European countries. Obviously most American prisons you won't see a ton of that but alot of the ability to get a guitar, band rooms, and as far as the ability to record that will really depend on the prison and security level. There was definitely alot more of that back in the day than there is now ....
Such a cool view of music. Having to go on "vacation" in the late 90s for damn near 6 years to help get past self medication issues we got to borrow the church music equipment and use it in a room on the side of the gym. Some tunes we played were sweet leaf, riders on the storm and loaded from Priest was so fuckin cool, it was our great escape every week🎭 ty for your work here and letting me share😉
Wasn't some of Absurd's Facta Laguuntur album recorded in prison?
love the passion for music these individuals are showing! those who want to make an album but haven't yet, what's your excuse?
fucking hilarious lol
I was listening to a forteresse album. scrolled down & you’re that exact album on a tshirt, in my recommended videos
Rudimentary Peni
But that was a psychiatric facility.
Only thing I will say about anger is that he is a now "Was" he died last year.
I used to bump the shit out of that X Raided..the phone call verses work IMO and I love the horror samples he uses....the 'Mortician" of Hip Hop lol
There's so many being made now with daws on phones and phones smuggled in, even guitars have virtual instrument versions unfortunately and vsts drums are used even on the outside rampantly unfortunately
I learned so much from you again. I have always loved Daudi Baldrs. Great if you listen to it like a dungeon synth album. Prison synth to be precise.
The rapper 2shanez has a mixtape recorded in prison titled “bak frm da ded”
thee Slayer hippy from poison idea recorded some records in prison but I dont remember which ones.
Волчий Источник - Ремиссия духа (Remission Of Spirit) is another album recorded in prison
Very cool to see the Nazgûl LP 😮
Got it from your distro 😎
If I’m not mistaken, some of the stuff recorded for the debut Absurd album was done whilst Hendrik and other members were in prison but did the recordings under a different name that wasn’t Absurd. I could be wrong though.
yeah but absurd are 1) crap musically 2) pieces of human garbage.
You're right. It's called "In Ketten - Live at JVA Ichtershausen".
PsyOpus's Chris Arp was writing the debut album (Ideas of Reference) with fretboards drawn onto cardboard in jail.
Oidupaa said in an interview to newsletter "Центр Азии" that he was inprisoned for the 3rd time for rape, as he said himself: "They once again jail me for a rape", then adding that he was innocent and it was a setup by his friend or smth.
Hlidskjalf is my favorite album to do acid to
Mac Dre's Back n Da Hood year 92 released EP is recorded from prison. Fresno County Jail, look it up! And there is this record where Life sentence prisoners recorded in Jail, it is called "Lifers ´Group - Lifers Group" but they had other records too that they recorded inside the prison they had somekinda music program there, So i recomment to check em out, "Belly of the Beast" is my fav song from em!
every Daniel Johnston album was recorded inside the prison of his own mind, therefore, Daniel Johnston owns them all
I was the drummer for a prison band. We recorded an album. 2 I believe. It's been 20 years ago. The Mark Abbott Band. SRCI had a nice setup for donations.
South Park Mexican is a someone who comes to mind that recorded albums in prison. Although I have never heard his music and think I read about him because of the similarity of his name to a favourite show.
X-Raided's album being used against him in court was BS. In fact, the prosecutor in his original case, who later was charged with several crimes himself, became his lawyer later on. He was/is a 24th St. Garden Blocc Crip. The murder of Patricia Harris was accidental, and committed in retaliation for a murder of another GBC affiliate by her sons, who were active Meadowview Bloods, a rival set, and the intended targets. X-Raided was present, but was not the shooter. Besides the ton of albums he released inside, and several since his release, he wrote a few songs that another famous underground rapper from Sacramento, C-Bo, released on his classic album "Til My Casket Drops". C-Bo is a 29th St. Garden Blocc Crip, and wrote a lot of music while locked up for a time, and celled up with X-Raided. I got to see X-Raided perform 9 months from the gates on his welcome home tour, it was epic.
GG Allin wrote all of the lyrics for his last album (Brutality and bloodshed for all) while doing time in prison
Damn. If it were "Albums Made On Probation", I could've qualified.
I"m trying to think of a snide remark to say but I'm just quite impressed with his vinyl collection. There's a crate diggers dream....
You should check out 2shanez - bak frm da ded
He recorded the whole album on a jail phone, including a diss track on the person who told on him
I've heard a couple of the Charles Manson album recorded in prison songs..... I think it had some pretty decent songs on it. However unpopular that belief might be.
I never heard of any of the other albums you mentioned though.
I definitely got to check those out at least the ones that you said were decent albums. Other than x-rated's album that was a pretty good one though.
The Death By Discharge album really has my attention Though.
You got any leads on how I can check out those albums you mentioned on a budget??...... Since I'm on a budget since I just got released from prison not too long ago.
The x-rated albums was pretty dope though for having some pretty shitty jail phone recorded qualities to it.
It made it kind of unique though.
I don't think I've ever heard in album like his after that one
Instantly thought of Волчий Источник (Wolven source). The dude behind it allegedly recorded the album in prison. It is a raw black metal iirc.
You forgot Mac Dre Back N Da Hood! Mac Dre is the reason why and how X Raided even started recording from prison. It’s well documented how he was taught by Mac Dre how to do it when they were locked up together.
Thank You for Using GTL by Drakeo the Ruler also .
