In this guitar lesson, Steve Stine shows you how to play Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, but from the perspective of being a guitar player, and playing in a band with a bass player (and possibly another guitar player).
This way, you can learn how to play the song, but can also make choices on which parts to play depending on what you need.

@@GuitarSongsChannel You sing/play the song (any song) in whatever key suits your vocal range. The key Neil sings it in is only relevant if you have the same vocal range. So either you capo it if you prefer the specific fingering of a particular key or change it to whatever "open" key is appropriate for your range. I have NEVER UNDERSTOOD complaints of "You're doing it wrong, He
/she [whoever] sings it in [x] key!"

My Mom's favorite song... I'm going to learn it and have my daughter sing it for her! Thanks for the lesson! Sounds much better than some of the "Cowboy Chord" versions! 👍

That pre-chorus part sounds like B-AbM-F#-E...then back to the B. Or is that progression for another guitar? Great lesson! Thanks!!
