Nice! I got a holga wide pinhole as a Christmas gift last year and as it turned out a good friend of mine was looking for one so I gave it to him. I also developed a friend's roll that was shot with a 6x12 camera and I realized that you need special negative sleeves with 6x12 so I made a homemade negative sleeve solution and after giving him his roll told him to get proper sleeves.
@@WillGudgeon I realized that I am not a pinhole kind of a person and prefer handheld photography so the camera was sent to a good person that likes pinhole photography.
No I haven't, I'm not sure if you can get into the grounds outside the observatory when it is closed, but we do occasionally go up with the children, maybe next time I'll take a pinhole camera along 😁
@@WillGudgeon the 6x17 will be interesting. I’m guessing that you have to think of compositions in a different way when you get to aspect ratios like 6x12 and 6x17.
Hi Will, you have taken some great photos with your holga. I have the same camera but I do not seem to get as good results. I do have a Mia 6x6 that takes clearer pictures and because of that I haven't used my Holga for a while. I think it's time to try again. Thanks for another gret video. Fave Pic the gate. :) (but all good) :)
Thank you, I have found previously the Holga being very hit and miss, I'm not sure sorting these light leaks have helped, it's seems even a small leak effects the image quality, or maybe it's the developing?? The Mia's are lovely and clear. I almost got rid of the Holga the other week, but thought I best give it another try.
I bought this Pinhole this week because of (or thanks to) your videos! When using the 6 by 12 frame, it has a 120° angle, but can we consider that the "vertical angle" is about 60° has the height of the negative is half? Or do I have a completely wrong logic???
Thank you, I actually got sent a Thingyfy pinhole lens by a Twitter friend just the other day, so will be out trying that, never been a big fan of digital pinhole but will be fun to explore.
Some of those wind swept trees look amazing :-)
Thank you, lots of amazing looking trees on the downs.
Love those trees!! All of your photographs from this outing look great!
Thank you Philip, was pleased with them :)
Nice!

Thank you Sina, you should of kept it and enjoyed it yourself 😁

Excellent Will...love the shot of the barn...that worked really well on the holga.
Thank you Jim, am pleased with that one, did seem to work with the Holga, need to get out more with that camera :)
Great video, love to do some pinholes in The Burren. Similar landscape it’s so perfect for it.
Thank you Colin 😊
Have you shot the old telecope dome at Herstmonceux? Remember as a kid looking out across from the top of Butt's Hill when it was shiny

Those wide shots look great. It was definitely a nice place to get out and shoot.
Am really starting to enjoy 6x12, have possibly got a 6x17 coming my way sometime which should be fun :)
A great place for photos though.

@@MattWeddis yeah I can imagine compositions with a 6x17 will be more challenging, but should be interesting, only 4 shots a roll of film though 😬

Great pictures Will what do you use to calculate the exposure because you got them dead on , real pleasure to watch your outings 😊
Thank you, just an app is all I use 😊
The zeen would be wonderful. If it is created would you be linking them for sale here my friend ?
Hi, I hope to get one sorted soon, I said that a couple of years ago though 😕😁
But yes, it will be available to buy for people to hopefully enjoy

Yeah 🥳
I've never really thought about it, but that seems to make sense, halving it for a 6x12, should be about right 🤔
Nice pictures, anything special about scanning panoramic negatives?
Hi, thank you.
The panoramic negatives fit on my normal film scanners, so the process is the same
Great photos. Look forward to seeing what you do with digital. Have you tried digital pinhole? Love the photo of the gate,

I am basically lazy so I love stand developing!!!
Lol, I admittedly am a bit lazy too, which is why I think I enjoy it 😁
I may have missed it in the video -- which light meter are you using?
I use a light meter app on Android by WBPhoto
Why is he The Dog? What is his name?
He is called Bugzy, almost 15 years old. We believe he is Corgi x Jack Russell, he was a rescue do not sure.
@@WillGudgeon 🙂 Say hi to Bugzy for me 🙂
@@IainHC1 I will do, need to wake him for a walk in a minute 😁
