I am very glad they were able to keep his death private long enough to have his funeral in private and mourn him in peace. Buck-Tick were like family to eachother, and he had a current wife, as well as a son from a previous marriage that ended. He also had many friends in the industry and outside it. I'm so glad they were able to have his funeral in peace and not be harrassed by the media or online rumor mill. I hope the bandmembers can stay strong. My heart goes out to everyone. Especially Imai, who always seemed especially close with him and also bares the weight of being leader of the band. I hope they take time for themselves. My heart has been so broken. Atsushi had looked so healthy and youthful for his age, it's such a shock.
Thank you for a lovely video. Fans worldwide are still grieving; Atsushi's passing felt like a very personal loss, as if a close family member was gone. To me, that seems like a tribute to how much he was loved and how beautifully he connected with his audiences. I hope he's singing in another world now. 🙏
Yeah, i know about that, but there was already too much information for one video, so i had to make some choices, but that is an interesting project as well.
I've had a huge man crush on him and Morrie too, for years now They're both amazing artists, and I'm really sad that I'll never get to see him perform live But I would rather celebrate his life than mourn his passing, if that makes sense
Irreplaceable. I just found the band, fell in love with their songs, searched on wiki and found that he’s dead. I was shook for a man I just found out he existed mere hours ago. His voice, style, performance, music was so unique. A terrible, awful loss. I wish I had a chance to see them live. Standing ovation for Atsushi. He left behind masterpieces. RIP 😢
I still can't believe that he is gone. Everyone could see from the first song that he did for his fan base that he was unwell so why didn't they rush him to the hospital a lot sooner? It makes me wonder if he would have lived if they intervened sooner. He's the most beautiful man that I ever saw. I like his music. I hope that he is resting in peace.
Nice video, Atsushi will be forever missed, no other person like him, true artist. I would recommend to make a video about The Birthday as their front man Yusuke Chiba was like Sakurai a strong man performing till the very last.

Sakurai Atsushi tinha um baita vozeirão. Vai fazer muita falta mesmo. Mas muito bom o vídeo! Já tô curioso para ver outras bandas.

ATSUSHI una perdida enorme 💔💔😢😢 🤧
He also was part of a side project called Schwein in the... late 90s I think? With Imai, Ramond Wats, and KMFDM.

Did he take the jab?
Does that really matter?
I wondered that too.
