LOL I put the playback speed at 75 and I can understand it and it sounds like he's talking at a regular speed like most people. Great video just had to slow it down one notch, you talked a little too fast for me like my girls do LMFAO
Well, after more experimentation and button-pushing, I have found the answer to my question regarding the USB functions. there is another whole menu that I had not found when I emailed you asking for help. When the USB is in the slot, there is a button called Browse. It opens up a menu that offers Play All and a whole array of how to play the tracks on the USB. Everything is there, lots of choices! Just thought you might like to know.

Hi! Thank you for all this info. I bought an EcoSport titanium 2019. So I want to ask if it normal that my car doesn't have the navigators (nav icon) and the only way to have navigatore is when in connect the phone by cable. Thank you very much
You're welcome! If your EcoSport doesn't have factory navigation standard then when you plug your phone in it's running off of either Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze

Great video, wondering what buttons to use to make a reset of a frozen screen but keep the settings?
Thanks Staffan! I believe on the EcoSport you have to press and hold the volume off and right search buttons at the same time. Holding about 5 seconds should turn the screen off
If that reset doesn't work you may need to disconnect the battery or just book it in for service

Your video helped me a lot with my new 2021 Ecosport, but the thing I am most interested in you didn't touch on. I always use the usb port to insert a flash drive loaded with all my music. I leave it in the car all the time. I don't want to have that much music on my phone anyway and I don't have to take it in and out. I don't know how to make the tracks just play in order like from 1 to 800. There is a repeat button and a shuffle button, but I only want to play them in order from top to bottom. Do you know how to do that?
Glad the video helped Collette! I haven't played around with USB music much in the videos I do but I'll look at putting a video together on one that'll cover off how it works
The basics though.. If you have the browse option (on Sync3) you can select New Search which should give you the option to play all, play by artist etc
@@CarsWithSteve Thanks, Steve. I'm not familiar with Sync3, but I'll look at your video again and learn about it. I don't use my phone in my car so I haven't synched anything, etc. That's what I want to do though, "play all.:"

You're welcome. Unfortunately no CD support. It would be memory stick, iPod, phone etc
Is voice command available for navigation in Apple car play?
Yes! When you're connected to CarPlay or Android Auto do a longer press and hold of the voice command prompt on the steering wheel to activate that Siri/Google Assistant
I have a question. On my Ecosport I do not have a nav button for the gaps. Is there a way I can get that button to use how without having my phone plugged in?
You'd have to replace the whole screen to get factory nav unfortunately. Probably looking at $1k or so to do it unless you can find a scrapped one and have your Ford dealer program it to your VIN

It does not want to connect and sync my mobile apps to my ford ecosport 2022 with my samsung galaxy note 10 lite idk what to do, the car is in europe
Not all apps are compatible.. You can connect via bluetooth for phone calls and music streaming or Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. But not all apps will work using AA or CarPlay
How did u have maps my car didn't come with maps
It's all in the options. This one has the additional package that gives factory navigation and there's no easy way to just add that in.
If you have this bigger screen in your EcoSport you should connect through Android Auto or Apple CarPlay to use maps through your phone
By the way carplay, the maps is really cool

I just purchased a 2021 ecosport s it has the smaller screen. I am thinking I can't do bluetooth from my samsung phone Am I wrong?
The standard Sync screen would have bluetooth capability, just not Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Here's a video on the Escape S Sync screen that has the same feature set:

Although I have the 2022, how to use it it's just the same not much difference at all between the years but I'm already turning this and to get an escape had this car only for 2 months and do not like it at all.
I've heard a few people trading these in after a short time for more space. What trim level of the Escape are you thinking?

Why has Ford not updated it so Android auto can just be synced via Bluetooth over using a cable?
It's a different underlying tech so there will never be an update to give the old Sync3 screens wireless CarPlay/Android Auto

Ah I know right? The new Sync4 system in some new Fords is wireless but EcoSport is in its last year!
