The Texans were gifted with playing 6 games against the AFC South, and 4 games against the NFC South, plus they had the benefit of getting to play the 4th place schedule. That's 12 favorable games out of 17, so expect some serious regression this year.

Bad take #1 - The Ravens have had major injury problems in recent years (especially at CB and RB) Lamar took a team of back up players to the playoffs and lost. How was that his fault??? Also go look up that game Derrick Henry had 30 carries for 200 rushing yards. The Ravens defense couldn’t get a stop the entire night. Titans ran the ball 90% of the game and the Ravens still couldn’t stop it. Ryan Tannehill only threw 7 completions the entire game and they won. Lamar isn’t on defense lol. The Ravens defense played terrible which forced Lamar to take some risky throws that didn’t pay off and yes Lamar had some turnovers because of that but he didn’t have a choice. #1 - The Ravens have had major injury problems in recent years (especially at CB and RB) Lamar took a team of back up players to the playoffs and lost. How was that his fault??? Do y’all not remember the Ravens picking up trequan Williams and Levon Bell for the playoffs because there was nobody left to play RB??
#2 - nobody has beaten Mahomes in the AFC except Burrow and Brady. It’s not just Lamar lol. What about Allen, Herbert, Lawrence etc???. They have not made the Super Bowl either at least Lamar made the AFC championship game and could have won if Zay Flowers doesn’t fumble on the 1 yard line.
#3-Lamar himself wasn’t healthy during some of those playoff games. He even had to leave early vs the Bills because of a concussion so the numbers are very misleading and look worse than they actually are. Also Don’t forget his rookie year he started in the playoffs as well because of team injuries.

Derrick Henry had 30 carries for 200 rushing yards. The Ravens defense couldn’t get a stop the entire night. Titans ran the ball 90% of the game and the Ravens still couldn’t stop it.
Ryan Tannehill only threw 7 completions the entire game and they won. Lamar isn’t on defense lol.
The Ravens defense played terrible which forced Lamar to take some risky throws that didn’t pay off and yes Lamar had some turnovers because of that but he didn’t have a choice. The Titans were eating up 10 minutes of clock every time they touched the ball.
Overall Lamar still threw for 345 yards and rushed for 143 yards
