  • South Central Kentucky is known for its karst terrain and accompanying sinkholes. Recently a sinkhole swallowed up a portion of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, taking with it eight prized automobiles. Observers are watching with interest to determine the next step while Geologists are using the tragedy as an opportunity to learn more about these naturally occurring events. Kentucky Outlook talks with Mathew Dettman and Michael May, of WKU's Engineering and Geology Departments, who are participating in the rescue. The show also features an on-location interview with National Corvette Museum Communications Director, Katie Frassinelli.
