Sound was fine for me.
Good! BTW------I worked hard to make the dialogue clear enough to hear.
Ironically, I spend a lot more time trying to fix the audio that's bad than when I get a decent track at the beginning
(I EQ all of these episodes to make them clearer/louder---but some are REALLY bad---in fact, I wasn't able to load 20 of the episodes so far because the sound was so bad it wasn't salvageable.)
@brianmccarthy616 I can imagine that it is very difficult to revive 40 +/- year old audio plus remove the creaking door sounds, old advertisements, and then clean it up for those of us that listen every night!
Since I am 65, I can remember how things were slightly muffled or like my albums are a little scratchy...the things most call "problems" and we adapted. Lol ❤😊
@@WVgrl59 I remember that too. As for these shows, I have several sources I use, the two main ones being a CD Rom collection of all the episodes, and the CBS website. But guess what? Most of the ones on the CBS webiste are dreadful! Some of them have good sound, but most of them sound very dulled and muffled, and it take s a lot to make them audible so that you can understand the dialogue AND get the volume up.
Now with my video editor, I can fix most of the episodes, but there has been a small % of the episodes that I couldn't share because the tone was so bad, no matter what I did to it. I am trying to save as many as I can and make them sound as good as possible so fans of this show will have a place to go and NOT hear all the buzz and muffling. :)
