Subtle things to note: 1) Enter the room with etiquette 2) Shake hands properly with eye contact 3) Take seat when asked to 4) Sit up straight, posture and body language speak volumes 5) Breath….Pause….speak clearly, confidently, be direct, deliberate and concise, mind the speed of your speech don’t ramble 6) make eye contact but shift it across all people in the panel to make sure all feel included

In 2022 I had a Team Leader job interview with my company and found this channel when I searched "Team Leader Job Interview" on RUclips. The panel of interviewer's interviewed us 3 at a time. So a panel interviewing a panel of candidates. The guy next to me gave a dud answer to this question. Infact he asked the hiring manager "what do you mean by motivate people. It was cringeworthy. She then turned to me and said: "How about you Jim, how would you motivate a team" I gave a strong answer for several minutes based exactly on what I saw on this channel in your previous video. I knew I had landed the job right there! 😅 This channel got me promoted!
the outsourcing answer is lowkey hilarious because if something like that were to happen, the company would probably then look into dusting the c19 employees and outsourcing their work longterm hahaha

Hi Richard, thank you for all your videos uploaded. Excellent tips and its have built higher confidence threshold. After watching this video, my dilemma is that how do I know to what extend of information the interviewers are seeking by asking "Tell me about yourself?" If I were to asked, I will honestly tell them my full name, where I came from, my age, marital status(with or without children) and other basic information which mostly circle around me in person😂. It's like me trying to get comfortable with just the 1st gear😂
You said do not talk bad about your previous organiztion. In my case, the firm closed by disagreement among the owners despite the team was working good. Can't I reply a question by mention this as a reason why I left my job

So i just sit down and tell them for the first 3 minutes that I am excellent or very good at pretty much everything and only after that I give properly backed up answers 😉
@@CareerVidz yes, but i found your video to be more targeted at a management role than a pure lead role, i m applying for lead programmer and so i wouldnt be involved much with things like looking for externals to hire, business decisions, talking to upper management, external clients, etc. but i have to go to a leadership interview anyway

After watching this video, my dilemma is that how do I know to what extend of information the interviewers are seeking by asking "Tell me about yourself?"
If I were to asked, I will honestly tell them my full name, where I came from, my age, marital status(with or without children) and other basic information which mostly circle around me in person😂.
It's like me trying to get comfortable with just the 1st gear😂

You said do not talk bad about your previous organiztion. In my case, the firm closed by disagreement among the owners despite the team was working good. Can't I reply a question by mention this as a reason why I left my job
If the company closed and no longer exists, you can say that for sure, but I wouldn't pass blame in a negative way :)

@@CareerVidz yes, but i found your video to be more targeted at a management role than a pure lead role, i m applying for lead programmer and so i wouldnt be involved much with things like looking for externals to hire, business decisions, talking to upper management, external clients, etc. but i have to go to a leadership interview anyway
