He either had to place the tracks perfectly or he used a tool to perfectly align his inputs to the track. It does look mostly like a press forward track so probably just lined the track pieces very accurstely.
It is a press forward (PF) map. It's in the title. TAS tools allow replaying earlier inputs over "perfected" sections of the map fast to avoid having to redo the whole run, in order to create perfect runs. He could have used one such tool to speed up the process. If he did or not, either way, it's still beautiful.

I've rewatched this video a few times (like many of us have), and I noticed that he doesn't just do it on that landing specifically. There's other times where the car bounces to the beat when it lands (similar to this landing). It's just a bit more obvious at that point.
I really really wanna thank you for exactly syncing the beats. My obsessive ass would have gotten madass crazy if even a single one of the poles or the drums or the jumps didn't sync. NGL I was on my toes the entire time. Great work!
But if you notice, the player doesn't go full throttle the entire time. He adjust his speeds according to where he needs to land for the beat. It's still just W but not just hold W till the end.

As someone that has taught music for over 20 years, I think your videos are fantastic (for both myself and my students), and I am also completely baffled at how you actually make all of this work. Amazing work!
Making it all work isn't hard, just time-consuming. The concept is called a DDA (don't do anything) level, where you just hold the accelerator. As long as that's the only input, things will go exactly the same on every run, so you can place objects by trial and error to get everything to line up perfectly. It's still a lot of work though (the creator mentions 60 hours) so hats off to this person.
Kind of a weird ask, but would you ever consider doing a “making of” for one of your videos? Whenever I watch your content, I’m always curious about your process and the time it takes to get it done. Anyway, great vid!

@@maverick300 definitely did look like a few A D presses..lining up in the first loop, immediately after that loop, and on the long straightaway he went slightly left and then to the edge where he dropped down afterward. Those were the first few.
