Hey Jack - an easy way to remember Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is that they're in alphabetical order from top to bottom (if the map is the right way up). Hope that helps bud!
5:14 don't worry jack, even as a st lucian i'm not disappointed you didn't get it. it's not a well known country but i don't know how you got greenland though

Hello I am a random Swedish kid and if you start playing Geoguessr again I have some more tips: These letters: Æ (æ), Ø (ø) are only found in Norway and Denmark from what I know. So if you see those letters and you think you are in Scandinavia, go either Denmark or Norway, not Sweden. Sweden uses Ä (ä) and Ö (ö), instead. All 3 countries use Å (å). If you think you are in Portugal, look at the license plates, if there is blue on one side of the plates and yellow on the other side, I’d say you can safely go Portugal. In Denmark there are 3 kinds of plates you can see I think, one is white with a red outline, one is fully yellow and the other one is like yellow for a third or quarter of the plate and the rest white. If you see like work vehicles with like a turquoise plate but the normal cars have white plates, go Norway! In Finland, the license plates are shorter than the regular eu plates, but they are still eu with blue on one side of the plate. So if you think you are in Finland, check the plate sizes. Just because the license plate has blue on the side doesn’t mean it has to be an eu country. For example Norway, the balkans (+Turkiye), Israel and even Iran use it. Kyrgyzstan has it but red on the side instead of blue. Examples of countries without eu style plates are Switzerland (microstates besides Malta Luxembourg not included) and Iceland. Tho Iceland has blue writing on its plate so thats one way to tell is apart. Plus if its very green outside you can maybe go ”Ice”land. If you think a country is like either France or Belgium for example, check the plates. If it has red in the plates, maybe go Belgium over France. If it has blue on both sides, maybe go France over Belgium. One easy way to find Italy is if the plate is a short plate with blue on both sides. Boom! If the country looks very northern and the places on the road signs are in 2 languages, maybe go Finland because Finland has 2 official languages, Finnish and Swedish. Reddish license plates are used by several eu countries like Denmark, Belgium, Croatia and Austria for example. (Croatia also has blueish so reddish/blueish. If you think you see a logo in the middle of the license plate. It can be Slovakia, Croatia or Slovenia (might have missed sum but idk) because those feature a logo. Blue license plates (and green plates with yellow writing) are found in Senegal.
A good way to remember the order of the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) is they go in alphabetical order from North to South, Estonia is at the top, Latvia is in the middle, and Lithuania is at the bottom. Hope this helps Jack or anyone who struggles
Hi jack I’ve been watching you for ages since I finished GCSEs I have been playing geoguessing and I can’t stop watching you I now know lots of country’s and I didn’t even take geography for my options and I mostly suck at geography thanks for entertaining me lol 😁😂
7:07 France is a South American country. French Guiana is the same status as mainland France. France is also a North American country with Saint Pierre and Miquelon (an island off the coast of Canada).
General rule of US Highways for GeoGuesser… even numbers go east west, odd numbers go north south (most odd numbers will end in a 5). The higher the number if it’s even the further north you are, i.e. I-90 goes thru Montana and the Dakotas to Washington, I-10 goes thru Texas and the southern states. If it’s odd then then the higher the number the further East you are… for example I-5 goes thru California Oregon and Washington… I-95 goes from Florida up the Eastern Seaboard. If it’s three numbers then it’s a ring road or bypass that connects to the interstate that’s the same as the last 1 or 2 numbers of the the three numbers… i.e. I-205 is a ring road that connects to I-5 and I-495 is a ring road that connects to I-95. Now a lot of cities will use the same first number in that system. i.e. there’s an I-405 in both LA and Portland…they don’t connect to each other… they just go around their respective cities but they both connect to I-5

@mysterm_official yes but since when can you add a dimension on a map, just to flip something?
@mysterm_official You are right, it is possible, but in this case they are 2 different things. Good discussion though.
