OMG! I love the Bob Ross deck❤ I think the person who is dominating the reading is my neighbor who lives across the street from me. I will share my experience with the collective as I was stunned by their behavior and had never experienced anything quite like this prior to meeting him and I hope that he is an anomaly and that I don’t have to deal with it again. I’m very well known in my neighborhood as I have lived here for 28 years and I like knowing the people that live around me especially since I am a single woman and appreciate people looking out for me. I became friends with this person shortly before the pandemic started which was a weird scary time for all of us! I knew his grandparents who owned the house and lived there before him so I was happy to have him as a neighbor and was enjoying the friendship until he gradually showed personality traits like needing to be the center of attention and actually stating on several occasions that “ no one is paying attention to me!” The first time I thought he was attempting to be humorous but I soon realized that he was dead serious!! He is short in stature and very competitive with his older brother but his competitive nature goes beyond that relationship into pretty much any relationship he has. Cruelty to animals and his need to feel dominant over helpless creatures is a heartbreaking and intolerable combination for me and I don’t want to be anywhere near him. When my father died he took me out for dinner and sent a bouquet of sunflowers which was a lovely gesture until my octogenarian neighbor lady gave me an orchid and he became jealous of her gift saying it was obviously superior to his bouquet! My father had been very abusive and his death opened up a lot of old wounds, the last thing I wanted was to be confronted with his bizarre behavior and lack of empathy as I had a hard time believing that ANYONE would use this time of grief as an opportunity to bring attention to himself! For the last couple of years I’ve had some health issues that affected my immune system and required surgery & hospitalization. My energy level was seriously depleted and my focus was on resting and recovering from surgery. During this time I clearly stated that I needed to minimize my stress levels and that I only had enough energy for my basic needs but he would want to text or talk on the phone endlessly gossiping about the neighbors, throwing a tantrum when I said I didn’t have the energy to deal with neighborhood problems. These are only a few examples that finally culminated in me sending him an article about narcissistic behavior and blocking him from contacting me in any way. I don’t want this kind of BS in my life PERIOD
I’m chillin, as in “ summer time and the living’s easy .” In this moment I’m taking action when necessary and I don’t feel like I have a lot of loose ends being ignored or dangling & tangling. My living space is not pristine and tends to be on the messy side much like a guy’s college dorm room 😂 It’s okay though, as is my tendency to take care of personal hygiene and self care without worrying about the fact that I’m wearing clothes that have a few holes or paint stains on them, it’s not important especially when I’m in my space. I’m no longer having ANY expectations for others to be honest or live with personal integrity as I have no control over whatever life choices they make nor would I want to control them as we all have the right to exercise our free will. With that said I too have the right to have a peaceful sanctuary and deny access to anyone harboring negative energy or wishing to harm me in any manner.
I already made my decision and I would never take him back. I'm sure he knows this which he is not making a move. He brought in a 3rd party and won't admit it or apologize. One of the queens could be his 3rd party.
